This is a rant. Monday night, riding home my clutch cable snapped at the lever. The next day I had a business trip and thought I could pick one up at a Buell dealer I knew I would pass. I called Buell in LaCrosse, WI. No cable. So I called other dealers on my trip and later closer to home. There were no clutch cables for an '04 XB12S in LaCrosse,WI; AlberLea,MN; Rochester,MN; Monroe,WI; BeaverDam,WI; Hal's in Milwaukee,WI; Madison,WI; or Dubuque,IA. Is it just me, or am I the only person ever to need to replace a clutch cable?!?! I finally found one in Madison. Note: When installing one of these, do NOT overtighten the nut going into the primary as the threaded end can break off. I have another cable on order along with a primary cover gasket....AAHHHH!!! |

Damn 75 thats why I checked it out for clutch cables for the 2000-2001 M2's. It is hard to find certain parts so you have to have spares. My Son and I are goin to Sturgis and I am going to take plenty of spare parts. |
