Well finally got fed up with all the BS with my 08 25r, which is still in the shop because of coolant leak issues, smoking, boiling fuel etc. The dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse, trade in value was over what I paid, first couple of services included, and they took all my after market parts off and put them on my NEW WHITE 09 Should have break in done by Wed of next week, cannot wait to be able to really open her up. |

Great news. There are several dealers looking to create raving fans. This sounds like one. |

limited time on it so far, but here is my Gut: smoother down low, even after last re-flash on 2008 also seems to pull smoother and more powerful Dosen't seem to have all the odd clunks, rattles, grinding sounds etc. that the 08 had - had 6000 miles on the 08 Haven't really run it hard yet want to break it in right. Going to do a couple of hours riding this weekend to get it out of the breakin period. |

Black is the fastest color. We have discussed this before. Don't make me drag out my thick book of pseudoscience and prove you wrong again. |

White is slower than black. White reflects all light. Black absorbs it. Light moves at 186,000 miles per second. Absorbing that light accelerates the Black Buell. Get over it, guys, black is the fastest color. Look at Eslick's bike... it's black. There's a reason! |

The rider makes the bike faster hands down. I run against r1s at the drag track and smoke em . rider is everything. |

> The rider makes the bike faster hands down. > I run against r1s at the drag track and > smoke em . rider is everything. Whaaaaat?!?! Rider isn't important -- are you nuts? It's all in the bike's color. Black is fastest and handles best. |

When the black absorbs the light it makes it heavier and therefore SLOWER!! Jake |
