I have a carbon fiber flyscreen that I bought brand new. I bough it off ebay, but it was not from a cheap vendor. You can see by the pictures that it is a high quality piece. It is in perfect condition aside from a few scuffs around the bolt holes. You cant see them with the shoulder bolts and nylon washers on. The finish is perfect. You can see it has a nice wide weave with a pefect clear coat. I purchased it last summer for a little over $100. I will part with it for $70 shipped.  I also have a carbon fiber airbox cover with the ram air inlets. I bought this second hand. It is ebay item from china. The overall weave is good, the strength is good. I have heard of other getting carbon fiber parts that are literally see through, this one is not. It is very rigid, and seems very strong. The fit is pretty good. The right side I had to redrill the lower mounting hole(covered by seat) to fit it properly. I also put 2 1/4-20 washers as spacers on the right side. Other then that it is very good condition. It also has some wear around the upper bolt holes, but is covered when you put the bolts and nylon washers on. It could use a good waxing. The clear has faded a little. But all in all looks really nice. I am just growing out of the carbon look, going for more of a down and dirty look with my bike. I bought the airbox cover in a package, so I would say 80 shipped for it.    | ||

I am awaiting payment from Tweek for the fly screen. I am waiting to hear back from someone on another forum that I listed who was first to reply for the airbox cover. If he is out, Kickboxin I will get you some more pics. Its really not faded, just needs a good waxing I think. But I will take some better pics if you like. Airbox is sold, Waiting for Tweekin to get back to me to see if he still wants the fly screen. If he passes, its still up for grabs, its a beautiful piece. |
