I lost the thread that mentioned multiple Buell race rotors, does any one have price/part #s for the race rotors? Anything special they mount with? I have a rim with no hardware I want to use on the track. |

The race rotors are a little wider. Not thicker but wider. They also have cooling fins on each edge to help dissipate heat. Send me your email and I'll send you some pictures from Barber's. Frank. |

Not true - I held the "race" (aftermarket) rotors, and OEM rotors in hand...they (the aftermarket) are in fact thicker than OEM. The i.d. and the o.d. are the same (or very close)...on this particular set of different rotors. Now I may be wrong IF Buell...has race rotors. But in the aftermarket, the rotor "is" thicker and quite possibly a different material. They do not hot spot like factory rotors do (those little dark spots on most everyones rotors). Mike |

The Buell Racing rotor is thicker and has cooling fins on the outside edges between the anchor points. Schmitty |

I think the OEM thickness is 4.5MM,race rotor is 6MM, |

Cooling fins??? I have mounted on my 12XBSs. As far as I can see, there's no difference between the OEM and the racing rotor except for the thickness. Buell makes the racing rotor, right? |

I thought the only diff was the thickness, unless they came out with something after the IMS in San Mateo |
