Do I need to take the front caliper apart to remove the front wheel? I have the bike suspended right now and i cant get the caliper off. Thanks |

Let me clarify, take out the pads, the rest of it will release from the wheel, and hang. |

Nope! You dont need to take the caliper apart (or remove pads), but it can be removed(after unbolting) by carefully spreading the pads apart with a screwdriver or you can do it by hand as you pull off the caliper. The caliper will only come out between the spaces in the wheel. You can even remove the wheel without pulling the caliper, but you'll need to remove the caliper to get it back on! Your choice: pull the pads or spread the pads. |
