Debbie, It is so nice that you're up and riding again. Galen, The rearsets on Betty are really cool. |

Hey guys! Looks like my bike ADD is beginning to kick in again so I'm thinking of off'ing the 1125 to help fund a new shiny distraction. Thought I would throw it out here for you boys and girls to ponder and maybe advise a friend or 2 of it's availability before opening it up to the general public. She's an '08 1125R with ~2000 miles. Keep in mind that this is one of the rare 1125's that has had zero problems and runs like a scalded cat!
I'm letting her go cheap! $7,800 But in no hurry so the price is firm. If anyone is interested or knows someone who is drop me an email at sounduly@comcast.net Cheers! Ron} |

Ron, you is so crazy Well we did the ECM spy thing today at Bob's, and Bettie is running like a top! It took a while twiddleing with the program and callin' Fireman Jim, but it looks like I will be riding by Monday. That's when the rotors will get here. |

Well after the first run, the only issue is a gas-cap malfunction. The bloody thing won't come out! Took me 7 min. to get it out at the fuelamagig. Now it won't close. Guess I'll take it to the Harley shop and get it repaired. har har |

Stopped by the local dealer on Saturday to demo the Hypermoto but it was too wet to ride. Not that I'm in the market or anything. So I spotted this... um... Ducati and thought about you guys.
Take care, Matt |

I'm not sure. Probably had a perfectly happy life with all the other Monsters and then something went horribly wrong. Funny thing is that whoever dreamed it up did a pretty good job of putting it together. I just can't see it being much fun for the offroad stuff. But I could be wrong |

Bob, I was hoping to go riding today and come see you but now it looks as though I won't be able to get away. Maybe next week-end if you are free. I'm not working right now, would it work to come over during the week? Let me know. Email me if that works better. |

I am looking for some local riders in or near Bremerton that is/are willing to sponsor a newby....I have had my bike since last year but didn't really have time to ride with work and school and now that I have moved up here I want to get out and ride but too nervous to do it by myself without a "spotter" so to speak. Anyone? |

Xgen Welcome to the Northwest. Unfortunately I'm still a bit farther to the north or I'd be happy to spot you, but I gotta guess you won't have any difficulty finding enthusiastic riders in these parts. Have fun. |

Hey all, I started a thread for SPLASH, July 24, 25 and 26. Blake usually bumps us up to the top of Storm Fronts. Make you're motel reservations soon, I'll post contacts in the near future. Xgengirl, welcome to the greatest group of motorcycle junkies in the world. The Northwest folks take full advantage of the great roads our area has to offer, once the snow and ice clears. Till later, Chris (Message edited by christaylor on May 11, 2009) |

Hey Xgengirl, as my cohorts have said, welcome. We do a couple of organized (HA) rides a year, with the next big gathering of the tribes being SPLASH (Sport Laps Around St. Helens). We have riders of all skill levels and sex's (at least two...) and have a great time twisting around said Mt.'s roads. As for other like weekend rides etc. we'll post here and try to ride together soon. As for you other weirdo's, when ARE we gona ride...

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 459578.html?1242090480 There's the link to the SPLASH info. So hopefully I'll live that long... I just got a call from work informing me I was exposed to H1N1 on Sunday! I start a ten day course of meds today. I think it's quite possible that I will survive, me and Donna Summer... |

Jeez, Galen, you've got to be more careful. "...organized(HA) rides.." could look like we keep some reputedly bad company. Oh, and stop getting icky diseases. The Sportster, for those who care, got 120 miles of break-in so far, staying under 3000rpm. Hope to keep myself under control for another 400 miles before wringing it out. How was it? Pulls nicely. Makes a heck of a racket. Between the narrow tank and the hollow faring, there's an alarming amount of whirring and clicking, and tapping, and stuff. Got spoiled with the rubber mount on the Buell but I don't mind the vibes. Just have to stop thinking its a sign of bad things happening. Floppy steering and crappy brakes (even with the four-pot Brembo). But I'll get used to it. If the rain ever stops. The Buell just got T-Storm heads and cams installed. Putting on the rockerboxes tonight. Jaci and I are heading to the S2 Roundup in Colorado in late June. The mileage is beyond our old bodies so we're gonna trailer to San Fran and ride from there. And that's why I can't afford the time or money to do Sonomafest North, sadly. |

XGEN Girl, I live in Poulsbo, and would like to have someone local to ride with from time to time. I think we are the only people on the PNW board that are on the peninsula....So if you don't mind riding with an old fart on a cruiser (I used to ride sportbikes) contact me via email. Sometime if you like, we can ride down and see Bob and Deb in Tacoma. Great people, as are all the hooligans I've met from this board. Paul |
