Tony's number is 1-800-234-7285. there ya go BadS1 All i know is, I have been around since Tony firsty started this thing About the 20th and he has everyone in our Brag group (him included) all anxious and rearing to go. I belive we are all (ann Arbor group) riding out to Hal's on the 19th to help set up and stuff. I am just Jazzed that we are all doing this... How many people can say that they road up to their bike company's headquarters, and handed the Origonator of the bikes, a card with a bunch of names basically saying thanks for the Miles and Miles of Smiles! This is gonna definetly be a Kodak moment to be had. OK back to my usual self... ::clears throat:: THIS IS GONNA KICK MAJOR BUTT!!!! ROCK ON!! If court is riding double i think we should get a nice big picture of it and have it be the Home Page pic on the Badweb.. hehehehe just kidding. blackbelt (adam) |

MI people, Are you planning on coming around the south end of Lake Michigan, or around the north end, or taking the ferry boat across? (I figure the ferry boat is out but thought I'd throw it in anyway). Just curious. Bomber, Uh, how much for the scooter? Just curious. You could post it on the site here and just say the money is for Buell upgrades (which might make it past Blake). |

"A LITTLE MORE FRIENDLY THEN THE DEALERSHIP..." An unfriendly dealership? Towards the BRAG meetings, or towards kids? |

small kids and a motor cycle show room don't sometimes mix when your trying to talk. |

Spidey, I think you really need to take the ferry over to Manitowoc, because I could meet you there (with any other Northwoods Buellers) and we could ride down through Milwaukee together... Much much much more fun than riding through Chicago... because I would be there !!! Charlotte |

Wednesday, August 20, 2003. Departing Hal's sometime in the late morning or there abouts to ride to East Troy. Once there people will go ride after a probably reasonably short presentation ceremony. More specific details will be ironed out in the next few months. Hey, has anyone contacted the Milwaukee Journel about this? Might make for a good local interest story warmup for the following week. (mapquest link didn't take well.) |

MikeJ...Great idea!!! The Journal loves all things such PR for local manufacturers, especially HD/Buell as they subcontract to so many other firms in the State. |

Would also think that with Dave Gess being our local historian, that he and Court could provide the background info for the article. Which in turn would set Erik up for the color copy for a perfect interview. |

There is also the Milwaukee Magazine. But since I'm not a regular reader of it, having only recently taken a class from one of that magazine's regular contributors, I don't know if this event would fit into their editorial categories for articles. |

Thats a good idea. Is anyone good friends with the cops. Maybe we can get a police escort. |

There may be an escort even without anyone being friends with them.

I think we have a guy in the Brew City Crew that is on intimate terms with every cop in four counties (negatively speaking). Perhaps he can make contact for us. LOL |

Depending on the route, it would entail two, possibly three counties. As such, it may require a State Patrol escort rather than the Countie Mounties. Then again, their is always "Rent-a-Cop" Would think that Hal's KMC HOG Chapter could provide info on this as they and the Wisconsin Harley group do multi county rides for charity. Went on one last year and all the roads were wide open for us. |

The escort probably depends on the head count. I think for less than 100 bikes we could probably just head out in waves up to 10 bikes each and take slightly different routes there. There will probably be some who just want to slab it down I-43 from the Moorland onramp. There will be others who will be unhappy unless their tires are scrubbed to the edges when they arrive. I can see one group heading down National, and another heading out towards hwy-83 or 67, and another zig-zagging down cr-59. Lots of options for a basically 25 mile ride. For 200 bikes I think we could get away with just taking off enmasse and letting the group yo-yo with the traffic and lights. |
