They also help drain all the water that gets up in the subframe!

OMG it's nasty up in there after a rain.

Twin Motorcycles has a fiberglass undertray kit you can paint any color you want for the 1125 that comes with LED tail lamp and a stainless steel fender eliminator.

According to the owners manual they are tie-down points. The owners manual also shows the rear side reflectors as tie-down points. I personally would be wary of using either.

Well, son, your motorcycle is a Boy, and those are nipples. On a Girl motorcycle, they are a lot more developed.....

I had the dubious opportunity to use the tiedown points --- including the reflectors --- for a bungee net a week ago. It worked "OK" considering I stayed off the freeway, but I was definitely nervous. Part of it was that (due to lack of planning) I had my stuff balanced on top of the cowl --- like balancing it on a basketball. A better solution would be to remove the cowl and sit the bundle on the seat. I suppose I should have used the cowl as a "lid," but that didn't occur to me at the time.

The fiberglas undertray looks great. Too bad I already bought a fender eliminator. What is the cost?

I agree with Carbon... these are reproductive orifices, at least in appearance only. Future Buells will replicate... product improvements will be built-in to the machine(s).

No worries with the reflector brackets as tie-down points. Have you actually seen how sturdy they really are?
