bike will be back from the track tonight..but..from phone conversations the pipe was dragging and the "pro tuner 3" well lets say it wasn't working propperly..i'll reach out to jardine and see what they say..as far as the pipe is concerned..i still think it a nice pipe..but as far as for "hard track" riding perhaps a different setup is needed.. What? The pipe is dragging? I don't know how you had yours mounted but mine fits inside bodywork and did not touch at all during WERA race weekend at Nashville. I don't think it did, I'll check it out Tuesday. Bike is is on display at dealership in Murfreesboro along with the trophies... |

I'll get a couple pictures for you on Tuesday. Thanks for the heads up on potential issue. I know I drug the lower fairing but don't think it touched pipe at all. T |

Damn.... Thanks for the heads up. Nashville, where I was running, is heavily slanted towards left hand turns. I did not notice or feel anything drag on right side, but upon inspection this morning there is evidence on the pipe that it did drag. The bottom rivet on the canister is almost gone. Have you contacted Jardine yet? Let me know what they say please. Thanks again, Tom Barber in 3 weeks, lots of right handers... would not have been a good way to find out about the issue. |

u couldnt cut the mid pipe back and place it under the bike more. youd have to make a new bracket. but u could even lay it on its side under there and ud direct the exhaust away from brakes and tire. maybe? |

Wow, this is a shame... I really liked the way this pipe worked at track speeds, I was not a fan of its street usage. Too loud and very erratic. Let me know if you have any suggestions alternatives. can you pm that Jardine contact info also? Thanks Tom Bumpus Bumpus H-D/Buell Murfreesboro TN |

i hope i dont have this issue i wont get my pipe until friday. On my other 25R it seemed to run great with just the jardine pipe. it seemed like it didnt even need a chip but when i called they said they would sell it for 149 so i hope it will work alright on mine. |

On my other 25R it seemed to run great with just the jardine pipe. it seemed like it didnt even need a chip It might run fine on lower RPM without the chip. But be very careful on full throttle or higher revs, it will go way lean. This is a very bad thing on a motor. Jersey, PM me about your conversation with Jardine when you get a chance. T |

Jardine answered quickly to my email/request and your concerns: Well Jardine and the R&D contact, Gary who I have known for over 6 months just picked up our used 1125R today to start maybe redesigning/relocating exhaust. We do have to make sure the brackets were correct or mounted properly since my bike has no issues and was done by Jardine themselves. So they are working on it now and we will know soon if it will be tucked in further or can size change or a GP type pipe. I know they will want no issues with racer's and track riders/canyon types who lean hard. "No scrappin pipes" Thanks Rob Kreiner Buell Specialist SKip Fordyce HD/Buell 951 785-0100 Ext 226 |

Hate to say this, but when I saw the pipes start coming out for the 1125R with some to the side, I certainly wondered what would happen on a hard lean. Just makes me glad I went with Drummer, being they are putting the pipe where it belongs, under the bike. |

Do you have to add parts or modify the ecm when u install the jardine? I've seen where some people have done other mods when the pipe was installed and others who haven't so just wondering what's working. I like the jardine but if it takes a bunch of mods to go along with it I probably won't bother. |

Hey as you know since I am a contact man; Buell guy at Skip Fordyce HD/Buell who use's the Jardine RT5 CF pipe and pro-tune 3 that was setup by Jardine and Mark Dobeck(Dobeck Performance)on my 2009 1125CR. No problems with mounts/loosening or cracking of pipe with 3500 hard miles. My bike has been crisp with more bottom and more power overall as the dyno showed months ago. 140HP rear wheel (I have also removed the airbox lid with better response and i will be fiddling/adusting the tuner on my own for more fuel with hard acceleration, easy to do) The pipe as any pipe is not always going to work with different conditions and tuners, etc. The Pro-tune 3 was mostly designed with the Jardine in mind as it may work with tuning on another pipe. As we know the D&D/Remus,etc scrapes alot and many have switched to Jardine from D&D as I have seen in so cal. Some Jardines last a long time as I have seen on Inline 4's but the vibration of a V-twin especially the 1203 air cooled engines is hard on the mounts, etc. Chris of Jardine is contacting Jersey thunder as I am on the bad web every day...most of the time, but i ride and race some...mx/supermoto and sportbike. Thanks for your time and GO RIDE! Rob Buell Specialist SKip FOrdyce HD/BUell Riverside, CA 92504 951 785-0100 Ext 226 |

I PM'd you and do contact Jardine tech or CHris by phone/email as it is pretty self explanatory with the one mode used most of the time/cruise at 4-8000RPM or so. I have not touched mine since and is getting better. I will be adding more fuel in .5 increments for hard acceleration and then test. Depends on where and how you ride and if you have the Jardine Pipe as it was built for it... Ride on! Rob Buell Guy |

ROB, nobody called and or e-mailed me..so no disrespect intended.."pro-tune 3 that was setup by Jardine and Mark Dobeck(Dobeck Performance)"...i thought it was a plug a play?...if mark dobeck tunes anything is will run great!!!...i'm sorry my friend...jardine is NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING...they are blowing me off...as far as the east coast track curcuit is concerned,i have beened asked about it"THE TUNER"..what should i tell them,it sucks and they blew me off? and as far as "GO RIDE!"...NOW THAT THE "TUNER" IS OFF...I CAN As far as selling the "tuner"..i would rather throw it away then sell it...sorry guys..and the exhaust is something i have to work with and mod my self since JARDINE doesn't seem to want to make it right "if you have the Jardine Pipe as it was built for it" george..i hope it works for you...i know of 5 guys it hasn't worked for..just put the pipe on..it works nice , just don't track it...
