Carlos is heading to cut mountain grass this weekend and then he has the WV Rally in two weeks. This thread was started, as there have been a few request for it. There is a new Bueller out near Asheville and was asking who was around him and looking for other Buellers to ride with.

I am that Bueller. lol My name is Caleb. I live 10 minutes North of Asheville(Weaverville). I'd love to ride with anyone who wants to. I have a friend who rides a ninja who might want to come though. ha Let me know when and where. I know a few good roads but thats about it. I'm up for anything as long as we aren't staying on the center part of the tire very long I'm happy!

James, Creeker is in Asheville. He works at the big motorcycle shop just down the road from Biltmore. Don't remember the name of it, but I believe they sold the big Jap 4 imports.

That is it. I believe his name was Travis and he might hav actually sold his a few months ago, now that you mention it. Rubberdown took us on a road trip up that away about 3-4 months ago. MAN what a good time. We have been talking about doing it again. Keep you in mind

I am in Hendersonville area, and usually ride the mountains west or north at least every other weekend.
Went to the WV rally last weekend though, so doing family stuff this weekend.
Maybe we can ride sometime.
I am sure I will be riding some next weekend (Labor day wknd), though I may go a little out of the way to avoid worst traffic.

Hi you'll,

NC181 came up in the Uly forum. So, I thought I would post something here. South of the BPR is the good part. It runs the East side of the Linville Gourge. On the West side of the Gourge NC 105 runs from The Lake James area to top. It is gravel.

Just south of the Parkway the is a store. It is Jonas Ridge Outfitters. Its run by Tom Bridges. He is all about motorcycles.

There is lodging and camping in the area. There are many good loops, both road and gravel.

This road is addictive. It seems most of you are east of me. If you get up this way, give me a shout.

I'm taking a "getting to know my Buell" ride tomorrow morning (4/26) from 68 in Greensboro on a loop out toward 89 passed Hanging Rock (not onto Hanging rock road though) to the junction of 89 and 66, back on 66 to 65 back to 68. About a 100 mile loop. Planning to leave at 9AM. Not sure I'll have time to check for responses.
I will leave the Oakridge McDonald's on 68 at 9:15. That might let me get home in time to cook lunch for my wife and kids.

I was good to put a face to Twig. Nice tone from that pipe.
Took 2 hours and 15 minutes to run the 100 mile loop.
I was tempted to go back the other way at the 60 mile point.
66 is pretty twisted. 89 ain't bad either.
Passed a group of about 20 knee scrapers taking soda break.
I can't wait to do it again.

Yes, but...

We cover the area but do not have any locals near Robbinsville. Most of us are further east, but have several honorary C3 Tennesseans not far away. We like the area, was just up that way this past Memorial Day but do not know if there will be any Buellers there at this time. Ride safe and enjoy.
