a few days a go my left side mirror was vibrating more than usual and i thought to myself" ok now i see what people are complaining about" then today on the way to work the glass flys out and hits my jacket on my left arm and i go "ooow that was a big bug" then i went to check my mirror and its gone. the plastic that holds the glass broke out of the housing. the dealer want me to bring them the bike to make sure it wasnt my fault.could take a while since the old"we dont keep them in stock and will have to order it" came across the phone.(doh) but ive been thinking about bar ends or another style mirrors and turn sigs. other than bar ends what size thread is needed to use other mirror options? has this happend to anyone else will i get hassled by the man for not having a mirror in the turn signal? |

I think, here in Cali, you only need one mirror. Not positive. |

Nice stroller. You only NEED one mirror, but realistically? Unless you're being a clown and the cop is looking for each detail to nail you on, there are guys over on svrider.com who have ridden without mirrors for 10+ years and never been hassled. Bar ends make the front end look so sweet though...so clean. My buddy's wife has a bar end on her Daytona 675...that bike is just smooth! Dealer WILL replace it. If not, call buell customer service man. Their mirrors have cause problems before, I've had one of mine replaced because it would vibrate out of the spot I positioned it. GL |
