You forgot to mention the NRHS motor mount . Super looking bike, but it'll be a tough sale with the market the way it is. Personally I think you should strap some soft bags and bunch of other goodies on it and take the X1 to Alaska! lol. |

Thanks for the compliment, it was a fun bike to build. It turned out exactly how I wanted it too, a show stopper. And you want me to take it to Alaska and get it dirty!! Are you nuts?? |

It looks like there are a lot of bikes for sale, but very few buyers. Money is tight, so I'm thinking about helping out fellow BadWeb riders. How about buying a raffle ticket for my bike. I'm only going to sell 65 tickets at $100.00 each. If there's enough interest, I'm start the raffle. Blake any concerns on your part? |

quote:Young Chuck in Montana bought a horse from a farmer for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the horse the next day. The next day he drove up and said, 'Sorry son, but I have some bad news, the horse died.' Chuck replied, 'Well, then just give me my money back.'The farmer said, 'Can't do that. I went and spent it already.' Chuck said, 'Ok, then, just bring me the dead horse.' The farmer asked, 'What ya gonna do with him? Chuck said, 'I'm going to raffle him off.' The farmer said, 'You can't raffle off a dead horse!' Chuck said, 'Sure I can, Watch me. I just won't tell any body he's dead.' A month later, the farmer met up with Chuck and asked, 'What happened with that dead horse?' Chuck said, 'I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars a piece and made a profit of $998.' The farmer said, 'Didn't anyone complain?' Chuck said, 'Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back.' Chuck grew up and works now for the government. He was the one who figured out how to 'bail us out'.

Seat height is standard 29.5". It is a beauty, you should see it in person. |

No dyno sheet yet, the motor only has 65 miles on it. Currently not being ridden, hopefully the new owner can finish breaking in the motor. New tires have yet to see pavement!! |

Can you tell me about the heads and cams? Where is the shop that put that thing together. Just want to know if it's as nice inside as it looks outside....... |

The heads are XB heads that were sent to Zootis Performance in Healdsberg, CA. Chris Zootis has built a few AFM race winning tube frame Buells for the West Coast. He does his secret stuff to heads and valves. I'm sworn to secrecy, sorry. Cams are stock for the X-1. Bike was disassembled and reassembled at the shop I work for, Golden Gate H-D/Buell in Corte Madera,Ca. And yes, the inside is actually cleaner than the outside of the bike! We spent a lot of time, cleaning, measuring, just to make sure it would be factory fresh for the new owner. I'd really like to keep the bike, but I already have a stunning S-3T in the garage and just ordered a 09' XB12X. I just can't figure out how to fit three Buells and 1 bagger into a one car garage. So, if you know of anyone who wants a very clean and reliable Buell, send them my way. |

I think that's the American Sport Bike carbon fiber, if they still offer them. That's where I got mine.... http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/media/ccp0/prodlg/6023.jpg (Message edited by malott442 on May 19, 2009) |

Apparently there are some problems with a raffle, I need to be a non-profit organization in California. So, I'm going to offer something different. Bike now comes with two VIP tickets to this years MotoGP at Laguna Seca. Just think, fly to California, pick up your Buell. Ride some of the states bests roads, go to the races and ride or ship your bike home. |
