Hey guys hopefully i will get my insurance check this week so i can go pick up my bike i have a jardine slip on and the pro tune 3 and a resistor for the solenoid. should i wait til after my break in period to put these on or would it be fine to just install them all right from the start. I wasnt sure if the pro tune would mess with the break in settings(if there is any). Thanks

If it was me personally I would wait, however I doubt it will make a difference to the break-in of the engine. The break-in is controlled with your right wrist.

I'd say you would be fine. Just follow the break in procedures. The Demo bike at the local shop got a jardine on from the get-go. The big thing is that you follow the procedure for break in to allow your piston rings to seat and to let your bearings break in. I'm sure everyone has their opinions on the subject. Let me just say that you won't be the first to modify a bike before riding it.

Almost all our new bikes leave with some kind of exhaust, before they have been broke in. In nearly eight years we have not seen any issues

as long as its tuned properly no problem go for it. By the way what is the pro tune card and who offers it.

Thanks, Micah

You might want to go to www mototuneuse.com/breakinsecrets.htm, read all of it. The first few miles are very important for ring seating.
