The reason I don't like it is not enough time to ride, I did my research before buying the bike and accepted its shortfalls before I signed the papers. Everyone else should do the same and quit being whiny asses about the bike. Many people complain about problems that have been known about the bike since it first came out and still they complain it blows my mind. Still others buy a first model year bike and expect it to be perfect come on people lets get real. Obviously COMMON SENSE IS NOT A COMMON VIRTUE AMONG MANY PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD. |

I hate that it was released one year after I bought a XB12R. Sorry I do not have any hate for it like the other thread participants. In fact when the 1125ST comes out I will have one. The 1125R is doing something that no other Buell has done, it is bringing a younger sportbike crowd to the Buell family, I see a lot of first time Buell owners on 1125s. They seem to be a younger crowd as well. This is a great thing. Similar to the XB bikes but more of it. The only other bikes, in my opinion, have come close to that is the Blast and Uly. I read the 1125 thread a lot. I am always interested in how people react to it and what they are doing to there bikes. I think they are fantastic bikes. I pass a lot of them on my S1W. (thats a joke btw) Don't worry about what other people think about your bike. Just ride it. Miles speaker louder that bar room banter. |

Don't hate anything about the bike. I waited for a year to be able to buy one and have been one happy S.O.B. with it. The "imperfections" I've had I knew about from this forum long before I bought it. I fixed 'em and moved on. Getting a couple of the bolts off the right side pod can be trying but going to replace those with Djus fasteners, bam! done. USA Baby!! |

I hate the fact that I can't keep the front wheel down, that I've scuffed the tires nearly up to the rims, and that all these smokin' hot women won't quit telling me how great it looks and asking for rides. Oh yeah, the fact I got more than $2K off the list price really sucks. (Message edited by marcodesade on April 19, 2009) |

I hate that people think I care about what they think. Not just with the 1125r, but life in general. I feel better now. |

I hate that its not available in Hero Blue. I know the second I get a non blue one and make it Hero Blue, Erik will clone it and make it production. |

Don't mind all the teething problems but hate the after sales service in the UK and how long it takes to get things fixed. Apart from that and it needs a chin spoiler its groovy baby. |

I hate that it's raining, because I love riding my bike. Maybe I'll just go out and stare at her for a while. She won't mind... |

The crappy mirrors that won't stay put. The buttons on the display can be hard to manipulate while riding. The heat felt can get pretty intense at traffic lights, compared to other bikes. Oh and the worst can be dealing with Harley shops. Those are about it, nothing too major. |

I really hated being sucked into this Buell thing for the last 13 years. White’s Harley-Davidson had to bring one of those Westwinds to The York Factory Open House. Than that damn Taco Bell Commercial, during the Superbowl, with a Buell Flying by. Couldn’t miss that Oval Air box cover. Than seeing the Harley newsletter with the announcement stating that Harley had now bought 49% of Buell and are going to build a S2 Thunderbolt. Than that Baltimore Motorcycle Show with a Reactor Yellow S1 Lightning. Went to Lancaster H-D and ordered a 1996 S1 Lightning in Black! You know my house is only 33 miles from Lancaster H-D, I could have bought a house further away. That S1 had a brick of a seat, but I rode the damn thing everywhere even though my butt really hurt. I had a perfectly good Fatboy sitting in the garage collecting dust. My 1996 S1 was three weeks old and I hated it so much I just had to take it to the All Harley Drags and Win my Class at the AHDRA Mothers Day Nationals in Maple Grove. I just hated trading the Fatboy on a 1999 Thunderbolt S3. At least my butt was feeling a little better. Than I got this screen name, TwoBuells. Even though I owned three. I really hated doing all those Buell Demo events and 7 years of running BattleTrax events, In five different states. And that didn’t stop me from buying more Buells, a Firebolt and a Ulysses found their way into my garage than that was it! I thought I put a stop to my Buelll hating but an 1125R sneaked into my life. I thought things were going to be ok but this kid from Oklahoma is winning every weekend and now everybody hates Buells! |

I hate that I had to put my 3rd set of tires on in one year and 19,000 miles!!!! Oh yeah I hate that I have to change the oil and filter more often than I change tires WTF!!! I hate that my cheeks are sore after EVERY ride! I hate that I have to ride a 70 mile commute on 2-lane TN back roads, every day! I hate that my Wife won't ride the 1125rt (I spoiled her on my ST1300 ;+} that's our ride). I hate people who don't know what thread hijacking REALLY is (get a life)! I hate all the great Buelligans I've met in the last 10 years of riding Buells, damn my luck (I guess I'll just have to ride quicker to get away from them (like that's going to happen!)) Alright I'm done venting. Time4Sleep Neil S. |

Things about the bike I hate, hmmmm, let's see....well, just the fact that it costs money to run it (Gas, tires, oil); but not much anybody can do about that. Oh, and I also hate the stock exhaust tone at idle; a twin should thump, not clickity-clack. I'm just nit-pickin' now, I guess I won't get that hater of the year nomination... |

I hated the fact that I had to tune the ECM myself. The bike has a stunningly wonderful engine. Once properly tuned, it runs almost like an electric motor. Almost NO vibration throughout the rev range. Revvy, smooth, pulls from 2500 rpm in 6th gear, yet revs smoothly, quickly, ok, very quickly , to redline. Also hate the lack of useful information I've found regarding tuning the bike. The Buell tuning guide I read sounded like it was written for an air-cooled bike. I own a water-cooled bike. So, I used a Ducati tuning guide for tuning it. Now, it runs like a Ducati... |
