I have the race can on my xb9s and I love everything about it except for the look. It is always dirty and wont come clean. Has anyone painted their race can black? I was thinking of using some high temp enamel. Any thoughts? |

Worked just fine on the original exhaust, in fact it was more durable than the OEM finish. I used Rustoleum high temperature grill paint. |

I had one of the first XB9Rs and painted the Buell race muffler BBQ Black before it was installed. Sold it with over 12K, muffler still looked great, only problem is almost everywhere I went Buell riders were nice enough to tell me I could get a lot more power if I only installed the "race kit" |

I did it using VHT paint and it is holding up just fine. |
