the website states that carrol shelby "uses" it in his cars. if i were home i'd try it in one of the other vehicles i own just for trying it. wouldn't put it in any of the beefed up rides until it was proven. just my opinion. i always use lucas products in everything i own. |

I too stopped using Lucas after seeing that froth on 2 different tests. Z-max I used once about 8 years ago. Put it in my Honda Civic and the car ran noticeably quieter and seemed to have a little more zip. I guess the only real reason I haven't run it since is the other tests I have seen for other additives. Not sure it was worth the $45 it was then and I am not sure what it costs now. |

used it in my last 3 vehicles- 97 jeep wrangler 4 cyl 125k no knocks or rattles 04 mazda3 4cyl- improved mpg 06 nissan frontier improved mpg saved my gf's geo prism- let someone borrow it, they drove it for a week w/ no oil on the stick (we were told- we turned up the radio to quiet the rattling noise-wtf) engine smoking severely, rattling, no power you get the picture- changed what was left of the oil and added zmax. within 5 miles rattling and smoking completely stopped. that was at 100k now at 155k and still doesn't smoke or rattle. btw- noone borrows the car anymore. the stuff worked for me. was wondering if it would be ok to add to my engine oil in the xb but not the primary, as i assume that would cause clutch slippage. |
