It seems as if its been a couple of months since hearing an update on the K&N filter for the 1125R .... the K&N website still shows nothing. I know someone on here had provided a bike for fitment ... any news on when the filter will be available for sale? I've got to say, its a little disappointing that the 1125R has been out for well over a year and still nothing. |

Hi Bob, "I am bringing in a bike to do dyno testing on a prototype filter. We are getting closer. We do not have pricing on it yet. Once the filter has been tested and the bill of materials is finalized we will submit for pricing". This was sent to me from Lisa at K&N on the 17 of February. I also have money waiting to be spent. Always great products. |

Patience is a virtue!...I am patiently waiting since I am the Buell specialist who has donated and worked with K&N/Lisa for almost a year it seems. I will let you know since I should be getting the first to test and use and dyno with Jardine with tuning Pro-tune 3 card. Expect some nice HP results. I am at 140 RWHP now.... Wasn't there mention of another filter fitting with some of the rubber trimed off the edges? Or something? If so what filter was that for |

I think there was both a Ford and a Toyota filter being used, but not sure which models. |

33-2207 K&N NUMBER. We did very little trimming and it went right in. No power loss at all on the dyno. |

But was there a power gain? I mean I only have 1000 miles on my bike and don't need a new filter. But if there is a benifit from it I would change it |

Didn't test with just a filter change, but tried it with no filter and didn't lose hp with the k&n. |

I ran into a K&N ad and clikked thru - Found the 1125 in the drop down menus, but still no filter. So I e-mailed them last night. A reply was in my mailbox this morning! "Hello, thanks for your interest in our products. The filter should be available within the next few weeks, we are almost done with the development of this filter. Kind regards, Patrick Jacobs Product Development Engineer SRM (Europe BV) a subsidiary of K&N Engineering, Inc. USA" Nice.... Z |

Hmmm...I've never received an e-mail like that, Zack. I've signed up to be told when the K&N is available, but no response. Maybe we are getting close after all!?! |
