PS The above post makes the most sense if you got the links I sent you from J & P Cycles. Did you get the links? |

Glitch was good enough to give the rights to me, at least in email he did, and as long as I get 8 in the vinal - I'm happy! EZ (Message edited by ezblast on April 15, 2009) |

Sycho, I'm not sure if that was a statement or question? If you're just going to put a sticker on it then get the flat cheap chrome cover (about $5?-dont forget to order the screws and gasket to go with). If your going to get it engraved, then the wrinkle finish would be good or one of the billet covers. |

Erik, I'm leaning towards engraving, but not sure if I like the wrinkle finish. Won't be doing anything till after the SLO ride anyways. I just wanted to try out the sticker for now to see how it'd look. EZ, I had this done at one of those mall kiosks just as an experiment. It doesn't have quite the detail as the original artwork which is what I hope a friend of mine will be able to bring out with his engraver. |

Well the plain, flat, chrome cover (about $5) would be a good 'slug' to have a billet one made from. I cant see paying $40+ dollars for something you'll machine/engrave anyway. A chrome one can probably be engraved too. We do know someone who has already made his own machined aluminum points cover. Jeprovo (James)! You might want to talk to him about it (if you see him sometime soon) A bulk buy would be a good idea, unless you want yours unique. Is this something Glitch would do? |

Glitch is swamped with new work right now, our buy number is a bit to small for him to bother with - the why of how I got ownership of the logo - so finding an independent source that is not pricey would be the trick. EZ |

Ed, I paid $8.50 at the kiosk. Not sure if that's alot or not but I said "what the hey" it'll only be on to get an idea of what it'll look like. |

Hey guys. I was thinking of engraving the Thor's Keepers graphic onto my ignition cover as well but was unhappy with the look of the posted sticker result. One thing that bugged the hell out of me with the original was the stretched out wrist pin and that the hammer looked like it was behind the fist instead of being held by it. I played with the image some more and did a lot of cleaning up and fine tuning and have come up with one I am very happy with. Printing my new high-contrast image in windows to a full page then reducing it to 36% (you can play with the amount) of it's original size results in a size just right for the ignition cover. It gives a sweet crisp image at that size too! There is also a corresponding reverse image as well in my Photobucket account for other possible needs. Let me know what you think of my clean up. |

I'm likin it. Much cleaner looking than what the guy did to the original. It was just a Mall Kiosk by the way where the guy finagled it to fit the size I wanted. He did squish some parts and the original pic had all the outlines which I would love to have reproduced. |

I'm busy until the end of September. P3Pilot (Ray) might still be recovering from his run-in with LaTunaCabra. DarisB has some stuff going on. It might be best to pm everybody to get it started. And there are a few new Blastards here who we havent met yet How about some ideas on a time/weekend especially from some of the SoCal people we havent seen. Lastly, I think we should start on another SLO ride planning. Last week of April seems like a good idea, we just need anyone who can check on the school schedule and Easter to make sure there arent any major conflicts. |

Thinking about doing the Mt Baldy to Glendora Ridge Road loop Sunday morning. Anyone interested in joining me? |

Still darn busy (I'll be on my way to Tuscon Sunday morning). I think people are itching for another group ride, but it takes some serious planning and 'bull by the horns' approach. E-mailing everyone separately usually works better (as well as a post here). Also, with the SLO ride DOA, we should start thinking about an alternate ride (even if it still means going to SLO) and start planning it for about the same time next year. Unless we get some serious enthusiasm from Northern California, it'll just be the SoCalers. |

I hear you Erik. Sunday was kind of a last minute thing. It looks like the weather is going to be really nice this weekend, and I work close the Mountain Ave. I've been wanting to do that ride for about a year now. A couple weeks ago we went to Julian, by way of Ramona. Found a great diner in Ramona. Was a great ride. The problem is finding some good road around here. |

I ended up taking a ride up to Mount Baldy. The ride up to Mount Baldy was nice, but very short. Some fun hairpin turns between Mt Baldy Village and the ski area. Glendora Ridge Road was closed. Presumably because of the red flag warnings. I was bummed. Guess I have to do my chores now. I'm thinking of taking a ride to Idyllwild one of these days.
