I'd be more likely to buy a fender extender (hey, that has a nice ring to it, I need to © that now). I already end up with a back full of crap from the stock fender anytime the going is less than dry. |

I wonder how that affects mounting the bags now. |

There are 1,892 items under Buell, and searching for "Buell Fender Eliminator Kit" brings up "0"? And, searching for an ebay store named "Five Red Fred" brings up "0". Sorry.................... This is in the U.S.? (Message edited by choyashi on April 15, 2009) (Message edited by choyashi on April 15, 2009) |

$155 for something that unfinished and it ruins the functionality of the bike? I will pass. |

If it was painted black and used flush turn signals only, it wouldn't look too bad. I just really don't like the way it tilts the rear signals in and down....not feelin' it, dude.... Which brings up another question...is this guy a sponsor of the site (since it looks like he's advertising his own parts) (Message edited by prowler on April 16, 2009) |

Well whaddya know. The original tidy tail helps keep the water off your back, works with bags and best of all... It is still FREE.} |

It's funny, I've been looking at fender eliminators for the Triumph, but I never felt the need to ditch the fender on the Uly. As far as I'm concerned, the Buell's lines are great just the way they are. Plus I keep all the bags on all the time, so I don't even think the fender is really visible. |

Prowler, It's mine - I made it. It's not for everyone. I put it on e-bay because a while back some guys on here were interested and paypal seemed the only way to make a safe transaction. It's the only thing I've ever had made for the bike, I'm not trying to put my kids through college with it or anything. A good Russian welder made it after I brought him one made out a Cherrios box (son's idea). I came from sport bikes, that's why I like it. Sorry if I offended some old-school dual sport riders. I paint it silver before I ship it. I didn't want to commit to black incase someone wanted to hit it with the barricade orange or blue - black would be hard to paint over. But the flat black looks great. That's my final color for my kit. Ride safe gang! |

Ryan, not trying to burn you at the stake or anything, but if you're advertising parts "for sale" on the site, sooner or later, one of moderators is going to hit you with this. I have no idea what's required regarding the "sponsor the site" thing, but if you're selling stuff, you might want to check into it as it may save you some pain later. |
