I can find textile overpants, leather overpants, perforated leather pants, but no perforated and leather and overpants. Besides custom ordering from Vanson - any suggestions? Thanks |

But only do it when wearing them if it is a serious session! |

Do they come with a matching handbag? Are they like Chapless Butts? or do you wear them the other way? Why'd you want leathers with holes in? defeats the object if you ask me. |

Damn, tough crowd today. Sorry Midnight, offhand the only place I remember would be Vanson. Many more options if you went synthetic tho. |

Sorry, can't resist; on the serious side it doesn't get hot enough here to worry about it often & if I'm somewhere where it does, I'll wear the leather to ride & put a pair of jeans in a bag, rather sweat than bleed, & I'm past the age where overheating my cohones is going to affect my sperm count! I had to buy a mesh synth jacket with armour in Texas last year, as I think I'd have died in my insulated leather, one it was over 100° in the Texas Hills. |

If it ever stops raining I'm going to start a daily commute to work on the Uly. Most of this will be on Rtes 495 and 95 around DC. Going in is no problem - traffic is tolerable and it'll be relatively cool at 6 am. Coming home at 5 pm is another story. Slower speeds, more stop and go, and it'll definitely be hotter. There really is no alternative route. I'm a firm believer in ATGATT, Perf'd leather is supposed to hold up nearly as well as unperf'd. I just don't trust textiles to hold up and/or not melt, When I had my high-speed get off a couple years back, I fell, slid, then rolled with just a couple scuffs. I don't know how textiles would have held up in a similar situation and I'm not anxious to find out. I'm looking at some of the Olympia gear (textile) but I just can't pull the trigger. Yet. I'm also considering getting a perforated leather overpant then getting overpant zippers put in by a professional leather place. I haven't priced that option but I don't expect it to be cheap |

I have a perforated jacket and pants from Cortech and the are comfortable. They are made for touring so if you you like to drag a knee in the curves the crotch area may be a tight. |
