First of all this is a great site for a new Bueller. Thanks for all the useful info. I have a 07 Blast, it was new last year and I have about 1700 or so miles on it. I had a great time on it. I can only go about 30 miles then my butt goes numb. To make a long story short. My buddy let me ride his cyclone and I don't think anything is stock on it, it took me a week to get the s*%t eating grin of my face. So now I want to get a 09 XB12Scg in Hero Blue Translucid it fits me. I Don't want to pay to much for it. What can I expect to pay. I am not good at negotiations so if I had a place to start that would helpfully. The dealership said that they would have to find one. I am not good at negotiations so if I had a place to start that would helpfully. Also I am looking to put a Drummer on it what does this do the the warranty. Thanks again |

The price depends where your at. Scg are harder to find for dealers and this month is when most bikes are sold in the US. Dont expect anything off MSRP. Good luck. |

$12k OTD is what I paid for mine in October 08 in Los Angeles. No negotiation possible, but they did give me a Buell cap and t-shirt lol |

My wife and I paid 10,600 OTD in San Diego. Don't think you would run into any warranty issues that the Drummer would affect. There is no re-programming necessary with the Drummer, it actually runs better. |

Most the time (at least with cars) you get the deal if you go to were the vehicle is. If they have to find it and get it from another dealer it will cost more. The dealers want to move the inventory on hand. There's people on BWB that would know if that's true with bikes as well, but I know that's how it works with cars. I would call around and check prices, you can get it serviced at your local dealer no matter where you buy it. |

I paid 10900 +taxes for my black 09 Scg (black is cheaper btw)As for the drummer and warranty well I guess it all depend on the dealership, mine is selling Jardine so he can't say shit about putting an aftermarket pipe the only thing he said was as long as I get them to put it on they would have no problem so yes I'll pay more but they will install my drummer when it get here. |

I paid $10700 OTD her in Norcal for an Ss... Same MSRP, in red. And they said no problems with the muffler but if something did happen you could always buy a used one to put back on. But that may be a dealer by dealer basis. And Js... sounds to me like they are just working you for business, who installs the pipe? Come on... Thats like when my dealer said if I (one guy, pretty sure its not the case) run non-HD oil Ill void my warranty, not only is that rediculous but I believe their are laws against that sort of sale promotion. |

I know but just to keep them to shut up and have no warranty problem (since they already did quite a bit on it) I will suck it up it's not like I going to ruined after that. And for my price being a bit higher well consider the fact I'm in Canada lol |

I found a 2008 Scg for $6600. The guys work is next to where I work. I had seen it for sale in the parking lot and figured he was wanting around 8K. I am really after a 'bolt but this Lightning seems like a really good deal and I can throw on a 'bolt tail and be halfway there. I would check out some 08's like the one here. I swore I was never going to buy a brand new vehicle after my new SUV's resale sank to 10K below MSRP 6 months after I bought it. Probably 15K lower now. |
