HIDs ($80 shipped for both! Ebay zgperformance) are installed & I used a relay to make a headlight kill switch. If you switch to H beam before turning key on headlights will not come on, handy when working on the bike. To turn on lights flip to L beam or leave in L beam when turning on key. Once on they will work like normal until key is off. If you use YEL instead of O/W you don't need the diodes. Using the O/W wire does give you 2 headlight circuits. If one bulb blows fuse other stays lit.

How about I develop a custom XB/Uly Stebel bracket to make it easy? I love to weld w/ my new mig! Once I get that mounted I will have no room for the rat! - 2 HID ballasts - 2 HID transformers - 1 Garage door opener - 1 Headlight kill relay - 1 Signal Dynamics voltage monitor - 1 Horn relay - 1 Stebel compact nautilus horn Havin' fun now! |

My Stebal has been modified (by bigkuri UK based) to fit straight on to a Ulysses Will have a look at get some images out tomorrow ps He has also designed and installed a relay to go with the horn as the power used is a lot more than the standard offering |

Did some night riding with the HIDs, Pattern is not set real high and is well mannered for low beam but reflective road signs 1/2 mi ahead shine like they're back-lit!. I'll never go back. Anyone want some H7 halogen bulbs, slightly used? |

You really don't need to cut any wires, they all can just plug in, but I did 'cuz I live to wire and like to make things neat. I did the flexy-wire ground mod as you can see in my earlier post |
