Well I never thought it would happen, but I'v lost my passion for bikes. It's disturbing, but I have no desire to ride or own one anymore. Since the 60's I'v had one kind or another bike, probably at least 33 bikes that come to mind, likely I'm forgeting two or three of 'em, so I'v had a long experiance with two wheels forever. Where'd it go ? I mean what happened to my passion? Wind in my face, and two wheels under me, the freedom, the Rebel in me, I can't say, or do I know? But I should be wanting to continue Biking..... but it means nothing to me anymore. Hopefully you all out there will never fall out of Love with Motorcycling, Because it leaves a hole, but not one I'm inclined to want to fill. But on to what I was saying in my title, "My kind of Bobber" These are some of what my Bobbers are... though easily built, these are not stock. The frames are cut shorter, the single rear axle and springs off of a MV trailer, along with the bed. Notice the tires, they are 16.00 x 20" tire/wheel specialty made affairs. What comes to mind as the picture is decieving as to the size, it looks as though its an old Willy's Wagon at a distance, in the pick up version, but were a six foot person to stand next to it the tires would be nearly chest high at top of the tire, so it is what you would call a Monster Truck, but one you could drive everyday if you wanted, along with getting around 11-12 miles per gallon. It will burn for fuel, anything flamable, though it likes and is primarily for Diesel. So Mabe... this new love has stolen my old love's place.......who can say what tomorrow will entice me with. |

Holy hell, man. I could get into one of those. More info???? Sorry to hear you lost the riding itch. Who knows, it may come back one day. We'll welcome back, and feel free to hang around in the meantime if you wish. |

Initally they were made from M35A2 'Deuce & a half trucks ie. 2 1/2 ton Cargo trucks. The Government Liquidation is selling off all of these with a host of other similar type trucks in various configurations. Typically tactical or semi tactical. |

That is cool! Passion is where passion is, ya can't change that. It is smart to walk away if you just don't feel it, that could lead to getting hurt. Good on ya! |

Go to www.trucksgonewild.com to see what you can do with the running gear out of one of those. Stuff the gear into something, add a 800 cubic inch big block and a couple of 20 pound nitrous cylinders...put on some big ole tractor tires and go rip it up. Their, as I said 'Modified' into what you see now. what they were is below. They are all over ebay, or Steel Soldiers Forum in the resorces section classifieds, or on the net. Search M35A2's suppliers and you'll come up with a couple of hours at least of surfing through them. Parts are cheap and easy to come by and will be available for decades

Sorry, I spent too much time jumping in and out of the back of those things getting shuttled from one craphole to another to get that excited about owning one. (It was better then humping - better like crabs are better then herpes tho) If that's your thing man, enjoy the hell out of it. It would make a kickass tailgate party wagon. (Also might come in handy when the zombie invasion hits as long as you can armor up the cab.)} |

I used to own about 75 of them but all of mine were Zeligson conversions with heavy duty off road drive lines and Cat 3208 diesels. (Message edited by court on April 14, 2009) |
