I had a Great Time!!! Would love to do that again even though my Butt went numb. I thought it was a good pace for all of us newbies. It really makes you concentrate more on the twisties, due not only to the road conditions but other vehicles crossin into your lane(including Red Squids) Again it was very cool to meet all of you and hope to do it again soon.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/Sparx_M/SoC alBlasters2.jpg[/IMG],} |

All it takes is an organizer! Perhaps next time we'll have a route a little better planned. Add a few more stretch stops. And maybe a breakfast stop/meet for those people whose ride started at 6:30am! Idlewilde or maybe someone would like to piece together a freeway free scenic ride. 2? 79? 74? Or? PS Buell Inside Pass track day is Mon Nov 3rd and Cal Sportbike is having a track day the prior monday Oct 27th. $150 & $160 respectively. Both events are at the big track at Willow Springs (Rosamond). |

Interesting to note there were actually 7 Blastards on the last ride. James' Blast is temporarily on sabbatical (but he's still racing a Blast). Jennifer had a Blast until very recently when a left turning cage took it away. |

I'm up for another ride, but I need to get a Corbin before the next one. I was so sore by the time I got home, I could barely walk. I reset the tripmeter once, but I think I clocked about 250 miles that day. Steve mentioned Palomar, and I've heard that is a really nice ride. Of course there were a couple potential riders to the North. Maybe Angeles Crest. Sycho - I sent you my address in a PM. Thanks Mari. I saw that. A new Corbin isn't a whole lot more than that. Plus, it didn't say that the seat was a Corbin. |

The wife is "half interested". Would be her first group ride, and first long distance ride. It's her birthday that weekend, so it's up to her what we do. With all that said, put us down for a maybe. |

We'll be by your house at 7am, April 24th. Please be ready or have breakfast ready. Seriously, I'm not against anybody trailering their bike(s) up or getting together on a U-haul rental. I'm also not against anybody 'carpooling' or meeting us up there. It is about a 250 mile ride, but the plus side is you wont have to ride back that night and the next day will only be about 100 miles or so. Again this is an open invitation to all California, Arizona or Nevada Blasters to attend. If we dont email you personally, its just an oversight. |

As Chris and I are both chronically early, I wouldn't count on us providing breakfast if I were you. Chris is still weighing her options and we are talking with Sargent about reshaping her low seat. Looks like there's still a good chance that we would be going. How many other's are thinking about going? |

Very cool. If I remember correctly there were several blank aluminum/billet covers available, albeit a tad more expensive than the $6 chrome covers. If you get the cheap flat (not domed) chrome cover you can easily put a sticker on it. While not nearly as nice as an engraved piece, it'll get the job done (a group buy- I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd want one). I've seen many Grateful Dead and other logos done in this fashion. Have you contacted Glitch, the original designer? That would be the ethical thing to do. http://www.GlitchCo.com |
