Well I will give him credit, he has some serious money in that, and it looks all done nicely. |

I like it with the exception of the swingarm. It's like slamming a Jeep. |

Where's the over weight "lady" for the back? I don't think I have ever seen a stretched sportbike without a "plus sized model" on the back. Remember this one? Video of it http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Suzuki-Hayabusa-Trike_201449.htm (Message edited by CorporateMonkey on April 13, 2009) |

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I am really sad this dude is in my hometown. I bet he never rides the thing because I have never seen it, nor heard any sightings of it. Did y'all read that the nitrous system was not even functional. Just for looks... to blow laughing gas out of the purge valve. Makes me wanna purge. |

I think it looks pretty cool, at least he used a Buell to do what he wanted instead of a Jap bike, I have seen a stretched an lowered tuber in St Pete FL, but I never got to talk to the owner, but it looked sweet as well. I don't know about that "only 3 in the world" thing though, I have seen a firebolt stretched and lowered when I worked at Black Widow HD, the guy said he had a hard time with the belt he had on it and was switching to a chain. Also there is a company in Germany that does fat tire kits and turbos and I want to say they have one stretched as well.... I don't he is gonna get what he wants for it though...... |

Stretched STREET bikes are valid for one purpose and one purpose only...drag racing...and only in the case where the bike makes some serious power and for whatever reason there is no wheelie bar...such as in the unlimited street classes... |

Hows the cornering?! Any handling issues? Don't get me wrong. For what it is, he did a good job. I just could'nt do it to my bike. Defeats the whole purpose. |

Just found out I know the kid that built this bike. His father is actually a family friend. I was told that his father stretched the bike himself (he owns a trailer/welding shop) to keep his son from stunting. "Even with the stretch, you can still take corners very easily for those of you who like corners." For those of you who like corners... doesn't Buell "own the corners?" |

Didn't you see the other thread? Due to the economy Buell no longer owns the corners, but instead offers low interest financing on them to those interested. |

I wouldn't want it, but I think it's got some nice lines. What's the point of owning a bike if you can't do what you want with it? |

I see stretched bikes like that all the time down here. I always ask what they run at Irvington (the local drag strip). I find it hilarious when they don't know what I'm talkin about. That's the only reason for stretching one. It's like seeing trucks with tons of off-road goodies and huge tires and you can tell it's never had a drop of mud on it. Look at it this way Guys, for us, it aint 'TITS', and its a far cry from its intended purpose. Its nicely done for what it is, and I bet its a gass when you drop the hammer at the rev-limiter, We all have different ideas of what we want out of our Buell's, no one's right or no ones wrong. I'v seen bobed XB's that looked rediculous, however other forum members commented on how cool they looked......euuccht, my opinion... No two bikes should be alike, in some way they should reflect the rider, even in something as minute as Grips or just polishing a part. Just one small area of difference. You know lifes to short to be to awfull critical of others and their taste, who would want to live in a world where everything was exactly look-alike? So, your bike might be laughable to someone else....or not.PS. You better capture that picture before the sale is over, or youll have the post without a 'good' link (Message edited by Gohot on April 14, 2009) (Message edited by Gohot on April 14, 2009) |
