110 mph on a barely used country road. I measured a quarter mile and run it regularly. I'm sure others can do better. I ride an 06 XB12S with the Buell race kit. Also the factory speedos aren't too accurate. |

At the local dragstrip I have gotten 11:9's out of an 03 9R with a 1050 kit on it somewhere around 105 110 mph. Mid 12's at about the same speed on my 05 12R. Anybody want to have an informal Buell dragracing night at one of the tracks local to Dirty Jersey ? It's a lot of fun and you also get accurate time and speed numbers for you and your bike. |

According to my race computer, my best run was 11.92 @ 111mph. Skin, give me a date and time, I need to get a slip to match |

Yeah man, It really is fun lining up and all. It's a pretty cheap date too. I think I will start a thread and see how many takers there are. What better place for a bike night than a drag-strip ? |

I've run 12.04 @114 and 12.05@115 in the 1/4. Top speed I've hit was 145 indicated, it didn't have much left. 08 XB12R |

I saw 145 on an XB12R w/ a race kit. That was redlined on a closed course w/ plenty of track. |

Hey Brumbear, I never have but would have no problem giving them a shot. I hear it's like a minefield with no run-off. I'm up for it, do you know what nights they are open for test & tune or just open track ? |

Wow their website is horrible, it doesn't even list an address on the web page with the directions. I had to use google to find them. Hopefully the track is better than the website. They don't even list what time on Fridays for the racing so I know whether or not I can make it after work. |

I have 190 tires, my speed is a little more than indicated due to the overall diameter being a bit more, not much but a bit. I'm also going to ECM Spy my rev limiter another 100 or so rpm, Not for top end but for low speed acceleration. |

I've never run at Island Froggy but I here you need a Uly or something else with long travel suspension. I here it is real 'old school'. A friend of mine used to run a methanol burnin' zook that ran 8-0's at 180 and he told me it's real fun. I hope I can make the 25th and hope you can too. By the way, don't try to blow up your bike. There is no big fat paycheck waiting for the "winner". Most of the time I don't even hit the limiter. |

No way I have never even run a quater mile before I'll probably turn in a quater in 35 seconds. The 24th we are trying for it's a friday evening and I would like to get in a nice ride of warren county before the races I will try to put this together next week Dave |
