Does anybody know if you need to buy tickets if you just want to do the Buell Homecoming portion of the AMA weekend at Road America? Is the Buell demo portion setup near the race area as it states you can demo from 9-5 all weekend? I assume hotels in the area will be pretty full. Any suggestions? Planning on doing a road trip blitzkrieg from Washington State and not really familiar with the area at all. Thanks for any help. |

I do believe that you will have to purchase a ticket at the gate to get in. Check Sheboygan area for a place to stay. It might be possible. Push come to shove, you can hang out on my floor if you don't mind 2 kids and 2 dogs. But I am down in one of the 'burbs of Milwaukee. |

you have to have a ticket to get into the track where Buell will have their tent with the demo truck setup. But I did see in the promotions, if you purchase a new Suzuki, you can get two tickets free! What a deal huh? but I think I'll pass! http://www.roadamerica.com/Races/RaceInformation.a sp?id=2 |

I have stayed in Plymouth, although it will be hard to find a room there this late in the game. It's only a few minutes away from the track. The track is in what I would consider to be a rural area so hotels are few and far between. |
