Now that I invested so much time in getting the KLR-250 all sorted out, I decided, naturally, to sell it. Lurking on Craigs list for a bit found this...
It looked (and is) really rough, so I only gave them $850 for it, and still might have overpaid a little. But the motor is good, and major mechanicals are mostly intact. The frame has issues though... but thats just a good excuse to weld
It'll be fun to play with a two stroke. No cams, no valves, no cam chain... it's beautiful in its simplicity. And the KDX 200 was tuned to be a good woods bike, with a wide and usable power band. I have lots of time to work on it during rehab after I get my ACL rebuilt... |

Looks like fun. The KDX, not the ACL operation... My son had one of those a few years back, it was a great (and bulletproof) bike. rt |

Frame (that part anyway) is welded up, but I ran out of acetylene... Maybe the easter bunny will bring me some tomorrow morning... |
