It's in Milwaukee, what more do you need to know???? Actually I've never been to it, but it's coupled with a car show and has had some radio advertising for it lately, not sure of when it is though. I figured he was talking about the Chicago big show but wasn't totally sure. Went to SacBORG and saw it was indeed the Chigago show. |

>>>CJ...NASCAR?!?!??! That's about as exciting as watching paint dry. LOL.<<< Lake, what the heck do you think we did in Arkansas for entertainment?? That's right, watch paint dry and grass grow !!! I LOVE Nascar, never bored with it !! I don't think Favre will retire at the end of this season on a bad note, don't think he'll announce anything yet ! He's still gotta be hurting after Saturdays game, they sucked !! But on a good note, the Steelers and San Fran games were EXCELLENT !!! Both my teams won !! Whose going to the BIG show, and when ?? Can we get a group together to go ??? CJM |

RE: IMS Show... Last year there was a bus from Hal's. Not sure if that's happening again this year. I left a message for Rick to call me if he hears anything. Don't forget... First meeting of the new year is next Tuesday! |

anyone hear anything about a repeat of last year's most excellent BTrax Series . . . .there were vague threats to repeat it, and to expand it this year (yeah, I know the year is young . . . .but I had such a gas last year, I'd love to do it again in '03) |

Go to either the storm fronts battle trax subsection here, or go to sacborg, or go to battletrax.com. Nothing was posted except a notation about the regional series separate from the 10-event Las Vegas run. It sounds like there will be another local series. Dyna has asked Reg more specific questions, then I threw a bunch of non-specific questions into the mix. I haven't check the MilwaukeeRalley web page yet though. |

Bomber, The BattleTrax web site has the SouthEast Wisconsin Series listed on the bottom of their schedule. Looks like it will probably happen. I think they're just hammering out the dates and details. Hopefully I'll be able to make more than one of them this year. |

Bomber, I think they like you to have brakes and a clutch if you're thinking of running the flat tracker on the layouts. That would be neat though. Have you posted a pic of your single? Hmmm, I wonder what a BattleDirtTrax would be like. Now that would be fun. There's a little second-hand bike shop down the new street that sometimes has some dirt bikes out front. Real hard to drive past there without looking. |

Mike . . .the thumper's a street legal Yammie SR500 (er, well, it used to be, anyways) . . . .the dirt tracker's another scoot altogether . . .. started life as a 650 twin . . . . months and months of work to get it on the road, new tires, gas and oil for the thumper, and it's ready to rock! since I, once again, fooled santa into thinkin I was a better kid than I really was this year, I could take a pic of the thunper and post it easily . . .hmmmmmmmm |

I'm thinkin' a three-bike lineup posted in the pics page would be a nice way to start off the year. I used to work with a guy in SoCal who commuted to work on an SR500, 35+ miles each way to work. He always arrived with a smile on his face and everyone thought he just really enjoyed his job. |

it'a a great dancin parnter. . . . . . .I've got it down to less than 300 pounds, and, with the bigger cyclinder (one more overbore and you got a stack of washers, mister!) and cam, it's good fun! |

Bomber, use the Yammie. Less competition in the class. Most likely I will be running the Dyna this year as I see no end in site yet for my sordid Buell saga. And Mike, nope you dont need to have a clutch. Hell they even allow riding mowers to compete if thats your thing. |
