That's the most useless, overly-complicated piece of crap I've ever seen. It's totally unnecessary that it balances on two wheels. Totally a marketing gimmick. GM's just trying to stay visible. ~SM |

The only companies that are out of ideas are the ones that don't innovate and think outside the box. I can't wait to see the production variants of the PUMA when they come out in about a year. |

The only companies that are out of ideas are the ones that don't innovate and think outside the box. True and I do not have any thing against the Gyro shopping cart itself (every story has a beginning ), but it is really bad form and bad management to flaunt way "outside the box" stuff like this as the "solution" given the current situation at GM. If it is a joint r&d effort with Segway, then let Segway and their P.R. people (who are not under public scrutiny) do the spinning and let GM start showcasing some more realistically viable machinery (from a availability timeline perspective of course). Public perception is what gets those geniuses in government meddling in the first place whether that perception is right or wrong. I like futuretastic crap as much as the next techno-dweeb but if you are going to spend my tax dollars, at least buy me dinner before you slap me in the face with your ****. |

This is what you get when you get into bed with a government obsessed with "green". Stop the madness !!! If this wasn't silly enough, Obama's administration is looking to solve global warming by increasing pollution in order to reflect the sun's rays. ... http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D97ECHLG1& show_article=1 |

Say what you want, the production variant will be much nicer, and it will be great for urban dwellers as it will be much cheaper than a car and make parking a Smart look like a SUV. 35 mile range is more than enough range for most people that live in the city. Just because you have no use for something doesn't mean others won't either. Also that other blue and silver contraption, thats designed to be an alternative to a wheelchair for people that are disabled. It is more compact than a wheelchair and easier to maneuver, plus you get all the "WTF" looks everywhere you go. |

Xt with Explorer package.... notice no ground clearance, no articulated crawl, like I need to be up over the handlebars on that.... I would R&D the Shiate out of it for them though. They will be sad that they ever let me have it. |
