I'm getting sick of all the whining coming from the other racers about the 1125R's displacement. Eslick has just been a better rider so far and they need to get over it. If the bike was so unfair, all the other 1125r's in the field would be up front with Eslick. Way to go Buell! |

Eric must be so giggity giggity goo right now! I'm stoked for the Buell team, and yes Eslick really is a great rider! Even my wife, who cares not about moto racing, is getting excited watching the Buell team win! I agree wholeheartedly with Osup, that there is no unfairness regarding displacement. If there was, they wouldn't let the bike race under current guidelines set forth by the DMG. I'm also loving the wonderful exhaust note every time the 1125R makes a pass by the camera!!! |

I never have watch bike racing before. But ever since I demo rode a Buell and fell in love I have been glued to it. I am glad that Buell is doing great in the racing. So hopefully if things keep going like they are with my finances I will be able to buy my Uly!!! But in the meantime I will keep cheering Buell on!!!! |

Congrats, to MR.Buell, and everyone else on the team.(also, anyone that had input to get them there). I think that is pretty awesome, and I'm glad to ride a winner. (although you can feel it if you ride one). GOOD JOB PEOPLE!! |

so that when my Uly wears out (if ever) I won't feel the least bit bad about replacing it with an air cooled Guzzi (or whatever air cooled twin is still on the market, if any). |

I am always willing to take pre-sale orders based on rumor, speculation, dreams or myth. In the event of reality, you'll be the first on your block to own one. ~jammer |

LEEEEEZE oh PLEEEEEZE give us that motor next year in the ULY...... My only concern would be the insurance costs. My insurance on my Uly is already double what my '09 BMW RT costs. Somehow putting in an engine that can race into the Uly frame isn't going to fool the insurance companies. This is a great thing for Buell and hopefully sales. Wayne |

Not to switch gears but my uly insurance was going to be through the roof when I bought it, but my agent switched me to progressive and it dropped by half. I had been with the same big company with my bikes for years (with no points or claims ever) and the quote for the uly was 900. I got full coverage (theft etc) with same limits with progressive for 420. |

YES!! Give us the 1125 Ulysses!!! Insurance for my Uly is DIRT cheap through Dairyland. I considered dropping full coverage, but it's so dang cheap that I kept it. I think I pay about $500 a year for all three of my bikes. |

I carry only bare min required by law which is liability. The only way this will screw me is if the bike gets stolen and I'm willing to take that chance. What is the sense of carrying high deductible comp or collision? The Buells don't exactly hold their value, parts are cheap, and I doubt they are much sought after by bike thieves. A few years of high full coverage insurance premiums and you could have bought another bike or at least paid for a nice long summer bike trip with that same money. Insurance companies love to sell high deductible full coverage because it surely works to their favor 90%+ of the time. Sure, you'll read of this or that guy totaling his bike on a deer or some other low percentage reason BUT if you could tally up all the cash outlaid for too much insurance over the years on your bikes it would be very substantial. I've been riding since about 1969 and have never totaled out a bike. After a while you get sick of paying for that which you never use. Insurance companies play on our fears but hate paying on our accidents. |
