Anyone here using the UNI air filter made to replace the stock one? I need a new air filter and was thinking about picking one up. Its $29 so cheaper than the K&N and not that much more than the stock filter. |

If its a foam UNI with cage, I used one for a year or so, worked great. I already oil the filters on my other bikes so maintenance wasn't an issue. |

I am also running one. It is a lot tighter fit than the k & N which I found to have a tiny bit of play. |

Gbaz, what version of the clutchlite are you thinking about? Just wanted to know if you've done any research on the versions, as to which feels the best, I;m also thinking about one but was stumped on which one to pick....thanks |

I was thinking about trying the 30% one Xsoft. I dont know if 40% xxsoft would be too much... They are not too expensive, so it would not kill me to change it out if i did not like it. Phat sells the air filter and clutchlite so i was just going to get both at the same time. Reading some on it here and i have found no complaints on any of the clutchlite options. the 40% may require adjusting your cable, according the the manefuct website, but that was the only instalation difference. |
