I hear ya. I consider myself a decent rider, but my bone-stock 1125R has more performance capacity than I'm ever likely to use. It's nice having a bike that I can't outride. |

Might wanna replace the stock front brake pads though. Going fast ain't no good if you can't get her to slow down. |

People have sounded the "that's fast enough" thought for over 100 years. And yet the bikes continue to get better and I for one an Glad. Harley and other manufactures with aging demographics must grow their market appeal to younger people too. If you stand in the same spot to long you will get run over. |

I think what he's trying to say is instead of arguing about which $1000.00 exhaust system is gonna give that extra 2 hp over the other, go spend all that cash on track schools and track days. It'll make you much faster that 5 extra hp at 10k rpm will. It's possible that I missed his point tho. |

Most people complaining about the lack of power fell that it's the bikes fault that they are slow. I learned I was slow when I was aboard a Ducati 900 and got passed by a vintage Triumph twin on tires that looked like they came off a bicycle. I spoke with the guy after the session, and he said his bike was "really fast". Said he had it puttin' out 50hp. Had drum brakes too! It's not the arrow...it's the indian. |

With al the money I spent on my xb, today I could buy maybe an X1! or a motard and have fun in circuit in the week end! no more aftermarket for me.. |

this week the GPR/POWER RACE TIRES and JARDINE TUNER will go on, not for HUGE power gains...just to smooth it out..just minor changes..and the "BEAST" wakes up..a must is get rid of that 45lb exhaust..our sponcers on here have plenty of options JT |
