APPARENTLY DANNY ESLICK DIDN'T GET THE MEMO The one that says 22 year old privateers on American motorcycles aren't allowed to win on the AMA Pro circuit. That one that says you can't put gas in the frame or use a perimeter mounted front brake. The one that says 200 people in East Troy, Wisconsin are no match for companies that employ thousands. It seems that someone forgot to cc Danny on all this. Or maybe he just filled it in the trash. And yes that's Henry Duga! Someone has GOT to make these exact fairings and lower available to the general public. The fairings I've seen just don't look the same. Is Duga able to release these to non-racers?:\ |

Dre, have you talked to Henry about their fairings? He's told me a few times that they will be available. As soon as I can afford them I plan to switch. Not only do they look better, they look stronger too. |

Did anyone notice that both engine cases (left and right side) had some sort of protective slider/cover on them? Wonder what they are...possibly a race part number?? |

I think it's some short of engine pan. Other bikes had them as well. You can see it in one of the pictures of the Aprila also. Wonder if it's something required by AMA? |

Yea! Just watched the race this afternoon on Speed channel. Zemke was on him but Eslik could just pull away! Now I'm looking forward to watching the next race. |

The carbon fiber case covers on the Buells have nothing to do with the belly pan. They are bolted using the case cover screws...one on each side. And yea...noticed all the Buells at Fontana with them. No idea if they are factory parts or not. Mike |

Antelope Valley's bike sure looks different compared to the last time I saw it at Willow Springs. They all started yelling "Hay they just delivered the spare!" when I rode up and then gracefully put up with me for about an hour. I think it was their first track day with the 1125. It was fun to watch them tinker and then pull something off the bike and then say "well we don't need that anymore!" I suddenly realized they were still racing with the noid in place and you should have seen the look in their eyes when I explained what it does. They went after that thing like a pack of hungry dogs and was soon tossing it around like a hand grenade and talking about how heavy it was. I'm sure they've come a long way sense then. Good people and I hope they do well. |

Court, I was just trying to find that post. It was a closeup with more detail. You said it was part of a newspaper ad. Do you have a link? |

I found it http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/158 664/448526.html?1238279880 The only other thing I could see was the Engineered in East Troy WI in the upper right. Does this mean they are going to get out from under the Milwaukee Iron Stigma? (Message edited by rde48 on April 06, 2009) |

Aha, just as I suspected, Unibear. They prolly took the 'noid out of Eslick's bike and didn't on the other 1125R's. 'Kidding, of course... |
