51 bids? just under 5 hours to go. I think it's at the upper end of the current market. New 07 & 08's aren't a whole lot more (at the best priced dealers) and have their full warranty. (Message edited by oddball on April 03, 2009) | ||

I don't know if it is the same one I was looking at a while back. It was supposed to be a quick trade in. The mileage rings a bell. It had a orange Uly fly screen and tall windshield. I asked the seller about the mod and had any others been done. He replied that the dealer told him it it came from the factory like that. Like I said, not sure, but I thought I would let you know. | ||

Oddball, Not sure what market your looking at. I've watched these and the cheapest new one I've seen was $8495. My local dealers are $8995. Most of the used ones are at least $1k more with more miles on them. Well its mine now anyway. Hope its as advertised | ||

I actually kind of like the black and white look. So I'm probably going to get the white airbox cover and maybe some CF heal guards. And maybe a slip on and ECM eventually. Heated grips - I try and ride close to year round out here. Any suggestions? | ||

Heel not heal. Can't type. Might do a high windscreen. Anybody had any experience with the laminar lip? Does it really do much? Thanks. Peter | ||

I have heard that the laminar lip is a good add-on, but haven't tried one. I ride year round here in GA and have a Cee Bailey +14" windscreen that I cut down about 4.5" (came with the bike and it was just tall enough to buffet my head like crazy). Cee Bailey makes various heights. It is a nice piece, a one piece flyscreen/windscreen, black on the flyscreen part and light smoke on the windscreen part. http://www.ceebaileys.com/cycle/ acav | ||

The all white look, to me, is what gives the TT it's unique character. Almost a bit police like with the black and white. Maybe add a gold star with "To Propel and Swerve".  You can always add Uly parts to tailor it's usefulness. I think the Uly's front fender is a good addition to the TT over just the fork protectors. | ||

congrats on the buy. if it wasn't for the xt coming out, the tt would have been on the bike to buy list. i know you'll enjoy it and look what froggy has done to his bike to make it look like a uly. he's done a good job with it. | ||

Wow- that was a smokin' deal for that bike! I know he said it's un-damaged, etc...hopefully he's being truthful about that. I only mentioned this because I clicked on his other auctions, and he has 14 bikes and 1 car, and every single one has "repairable damage"... Anyway- maybe I'm just a cynic! lol Good luck with it! |
