What I sacrifice in comfort around town and on the highway (I avoid the highway anyway), is worth the position in the twisties. Just a simple shift left or right and I'm in position. Some core strength is required, but I'm still young I'm not ready for a geezerglide yet. Jpb, the front tongue seats in, but if I pull up it pops out. It's funny, cause they both have the same seat pan base. I think its poor QC at plastic plant that made the pan. I thought of that. While looking I noticed that the stock seat was resting on and wearing through the insulation of the wiring harness. Lakeshore HD had a picture of the new "long" select seat where the standard one should have been. I got them to knock off $15 to keep it. (I was gonna anyway) The new "long" one has no enema groove and turns up to a point at the tail. Looks great in the pictures.
