yeah, i was out riding last weekend, too... did about 80 miles on a few of the familiar mountain roads (probably the same ones you guys were on), and it felt GREAT. it has been way too long since i have done that. got to get reacquainted with the bike following a lot of over-the-winter work... loving the new Conti RAs. they are a LOT different from the Metzeler M3s i had on before. so Julie... you're getting blue bodywork? which blue is it? i haven't been keeping up. |

Ok Frank, we better see pictures of your Uly out in the snow. Put some spiked tires on it and start doing donuts. |

The BLUE is here. I got the Hero blue and can't wait to put it on. THANK YOU Zac. That was a fast delivery. I'll post pictures when the sun comes out. And John, Dan did get the amber wheels on and it looks great. Really perks it up. Hey Jason, my hubby is a mechanical designer. You guys would have stuff in common. Love our new status. I couldn't find us when I first got on. thought something was wrong I was in the Springs today and got caught in the storm. Then I broke my drivers side windshield wiper and had to stop in Monument to buy a new one. Maybe out for a ride this weekend. Roads may be a bit sandy tho. And yes, Frank, we definitely need to get together will lots more Buellers Also, I was thinking about having a party either the last weekend of July (25th) or the first weekend of Aug (1st). Would be great to have a social event and family is invited. Possibly a pot luck. (Message edited by jumpinjewels on March 26, 2009) |

Had to back out a level and see it, I keep this one open. Looks NICE Kristi. We got sent home at noon for the storm yesterday. One of those rare days I applaud my $600.00 Jeep. I think Loretta's garage bound for a couple of days. Catching up with you Julie, passed 17k miles a few days back. Z |

Looks like everything is closed down South. All the bases are closed so no work for me. I am glad I did not store the garage heater yet. I have some carb work to do. |

I was suppose to do some on-site visits to 10 clinics today in the Springs but when I saw that there was still a blizzard warning down south I said "no way". Hanging out with Dan today, he took the day off too. Dan's thinking of working on his dirt bike today and get my new colors on. |

We met a new Bueller. His name is Chris and he works at a local motorcycle shop here in Castle Rock. He said he's been getting a lot of flack from his co-workers for having a Buell. He just purchased a 2003 XB9R. He's actually quite excited about having this, altho, he said he really wanted a 12. |

Yea, I think we did. I even mentioned it to Dan but he couldn't quite remember. Dan went from the white to the blue, then yellow and now back to the white. We definitely need to get together for a ride. We probably won't be going anywhere this weekend, our driveway is covered in snow and it's about 600ft long. |

Sooo, we spent the day looking for goodies for the bikes. Needed a clear tank protector and did find one. Also......needed a new jacket to go with the new bike. Went with a black and white Speed and Strength (S&S) jacket. Was looking for a blue jacket but women's jackets are hard to find. This one will go with any bike, so it's OK. Two weeks from today is MRA HRP day. Yahoooo Can't wait. Hey John, we saw a 2 piece leather suit at the M/C shop on County Line for just over $400 (half price)!!!! And Chris, look forward to getting together with you so you and Dan can play with the bikes. |

I went for a short ride on the Uly then got to work on the S1W. I rejetted the carb, made a air intake mod and put hotter plugs in it. Was running great and about 5 miles into the ride the Speedo drive went out so I got one coming from HCHD. I also discovered a manifold leak that I will address soon. While I have the exhaust off I may polish the pipes.

I was domestic, too. Finished moving out of the old apartment and cleaning it today. Walked some after dinner. Now I am free to watch cable tv all evening long. Actually, I'll probably watch my latest Netflix DVD "Faster" narrated by Ewen McGregor concerning the MotoGP championship. |

Hey Jewels! Thanks for the ECM leads I will check into them right away. Did I hear you say that you need a clear tank protector? I think I have the stuff here? I can make you one? I made a really sweet one for my 08 GSXR. I like doin that that stuff! I suppose you are sort of used to that type of thing with Dan around? |

I should introduce myself to ya'll! But jewels has done a great job of leading me in. My name is Chris and I just joined the Buell world when I picked up a sweet little XB9R a few weeks ago. I look forward to chating and riding with everyone! Jewels! I almost tried to get a hold of you guys today? but I had lots of little things to do today, plus the roads up here in CPN are still terribly wet and sandy from the storm.

Hi, I suppose I should belly up and introduce too. My name is Mac and I'm a relatively new owner of an 03 XB9r also. I picked it up from Steele's while getting tires mounted for my dad's bike (dammit). The bike is fantastic and sadly I'll have to kick my Blast to the curb. -Too many toys.
What my garage looks like right now. a damn mess of buells and an exceptionally finiky Yamaha Vision.(dad's) I live down in South Denver.
Absolutely awesome bike that I'm planning on exploring the American SW on. (with pops) Maybe I'll see ya around! I'd love to do group rides, but I've had a hard time justifying even starting the beast lately. Maybe summer will be better. |
