I rode with my buddy this weekend and he has a new CVO fat bob. with the 110 cube ss motor with different cams rush slip-ons and dyno tuned. I have a XB9SX and he had barely anything on me. If anything. What gives? |

36 cubic inches and 300 lbs. ring any bells. |

calculate power to weigh for both bikes and riders...... if you have two buells, then you throw two oversized riders on one of the bikes and a skinny white boy like myself on the other one....whats gonna happen.... |

LOL, I toy with my dad on his Deluxe. He will take off like a bat outa hell, but I keep up easily, just as he tops 2nd gear, I go WOT and leave him. He hates it! |

HAHA. yeah I dunno I was just expecting more out of 110 cubes. But like everyone said its a 730 pound bike to a 330 pound bike. No competition. "if he can just keep up that big bastage is running strong." He can only keep up on the straights. But its brand new only 1700 miles. |

My buddy has an 1800cc Honda cruiser. More HP than the Harley. He can't keep up with me on my XB9S And I weigh 70 lbs. more. (Message edited by old_man on March 30, 2009) |

It’s the Indian, not the arrow. I felt embarrassed on a demo ride, I was on a 08 XB12R, the leader was on a Blast and I was having a hard time keeping up. Obviously lots of factors including never riding a Bolt before, not knowing the roads, and not wanting to screw up and take out half the demo fleet. Either way, embarrassing. |

Harley-Davidson XL883R 550 lbs, 62 hp Buell XB9SX 425 lb (saddlebags) 100 hp power to weight is a big one, but the suspension and gearing on the Buell is far away from the sportster that its no wonder why the CityX gets out of the garage more. |

My Brother has a Road King. It has a 124 S&S Twin Cam. It can pretty much put the smack down on a XB. |

It can pretty much put the smack down on a XB. Maybe in a drag race. |

Thats right John you seen it right after he broke it in. He finally got it Dyno'd. The bike put out 136 hp. I talked to Brian Nallin about the engine. He said theres alot of room for improvement without doing much at all. I don't think my Brother will do anymore. He bought a Porsche about a month and a half ago. |

my friends and i have a guy we do some work for occasionally and he has an iron horse(think softail deluxe style). kind of a classic looking bike with some beach bars on it. we have done 3 motors for it since he's owned it. always going bigger. it currently has a nasty 141 in it. i can haze the tire completely through the first 3 gears and well into 4th on it. the whole time the rear end is swinging around, the frontend is just floating and im banging gears as fast as i can. but man oh man that thing needs something on it besides those beach bars. its like trying to dance to heavy metal with a fat lady, its all you can do to keep up with the wiggles... |

I've been on a sportsbike and was carved up by a guy on a hopped up Sportster - over a really crappy road and it came down to a 16" front wheel V a 21" front wheel and watched him potato through the gravel and debris strewn byway. Other times I've had a Street Bob out with a bunch of Jap 1200s and they have said 'wow - I didn't know they went like that!!!' when we got to the pub. There's bikes and there's riders. |

There is a folk tale in the mountains of a sport bike eating Road King. Eating? Not very often. Messing with, i.e. opening a mind or two to the possibilities? Huge great heaps of 800-pound fun. Beautiful photo, Carlos, but I still haven't figured out how you lean so far and click so much all at the same time.
