the money don't matter, if they listed them as "new in box", you better be picky because I would be too! we didn't ask them to list the wheels so cheap, and if they did, it means that they paid cheap the wheels also! call them and let them know your problem, I'm sure they either will send you another set or refund you some money, they're really nice... |

As sad as it is this is what you get when you buy rims today, even when you pay full retail. When was the last time any of you got a perfect custom wheel for your car. Doesn't happen even if you spend $10,000 for a set. Ask me I sent three sets of HRE rims back and they told me I was being to picky. I feel for you but I'm buying a set of these and I wont have a problem with the small nicks. You should see the bend in my front PM wheel I've been living with for a long long time. |

the previous set I bought from American Sport Bike was perfect and I was charged 100 buck more than what I paid mines on ebay, so no excuses! I'm with Sleez: I pay, I demand... |

Mine just arrived from St Paul Harley Davidson/Buell today and they are beautiful! Now that I have them in hand, I am amazed at how light they are. I can easily see why Buell selected PM as their premium wheel vendor and why these wheels are worth every penny of the extra cost. |

I just got mine today. It only took 3 days to get them. Now I can put some 180s on the back! Sleez - Did you talk to them about the problems with you wheels? Mine are perfect, no nicks or scratches at all. I wouldn't settle for those that you got. |

I just weighed the front wheel. I was 11 lbs, 1 ounce with wheel bearings, bolts, valve, and spacers in place. If the cast wheels on my M2 are even lighter, that would be great but I know the cast wheels for my Suzuki Bandit are much heavier. Regardless, these are like jewelry for my bike. |

Yes they are the heaviest I guess. From a previous posting Marchesini-frt3.5" 10#-8oz rear5" 14#-15oz Cast Alloy-frt3.5" 10#-15oz rear5" 15#-10.5oz PM frt3.5" 12#-0oz rear5.5" 15#-6.50z Take it as you want to but the rear PM is .5" wider for a larger tire maybe. (Disclaimer-no warrantees guarantees or otherwise implied) If you want I can weight my PM rims. |

James, Thanks for the information. It looks like all types of Buell wheels are fairly close in weight and it seems that all lighter than most other brands of similar size. Does it follow that they might also be more fragile than others? ie Japanese brands like Suzuki? |

hey guys, just want to let you all know, tim and the guys at St Paul HD have been tremendous at taking care of me. in no way were they ever trying to pass off something, they have been very upstanding in making sure i am completely satisfied with the sale. not the norm these days, they could have just said, "sorry!" very cool, thanks. if anything, makes me more likely to do business with them in the future. |

Yeah some of those older PM wheels were cool, but they don't manufacture wheels with that process any more. |

I have a set of PM Aero's on my '98 Roadglide which I put on when it was new. They have been wonderful, and every time I walk past it (on the way to my Buell), I feel good about the purchase. They run true, and polish up beautifully...I'd sure do it again... fyi, I had PM's on my '98 M2, and also have them on my '99 S3(T) |

Would anyone what would be required to put a set of those Ebay/St. Pauls H-D, PM's on a 1998 Road Glide, accounting for the belt opposite sides and one front brake. Anyone? |

Besides the added work to get them to fit a Road Glide, why would you want to? The rear would be counter-directional, and you would eat tires like crazy because of the extra weight. It would be hard to find 130/70 17s and 180/55 17s that would last like a touring tire when mounted on a 1000 lb sled. I know my dad got almost 17,000 out of his last back tire on his Ultra, and I got 5K... |

Mine came at the higher price but are definitely new and never installed. They are perfect with no marks of any kind. |

Well, I returned mine. One wasn't in a bag, only had some cardboard around it, and it had dried up loctite in the pulley bolt holes. They sent another, this one had marks where a rotor was mounted and some marks where a machined put on/took off a tire. I also had someone stop by there and ask, and they said, "None are in a sealed box from the factory." They are just in bags. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up. |

The set I got at the higher price was shipped to me in the factory box labeled to the Buell factory. The were still in bags and there were no marks or any trace of them ever being mounted. They might of run out of the NIB ones and have lowered the price to reflect. |
