I'll be at the ranchito OH THE STRESS!! Trying to decide which porch to lounge on has got to be rough. This thread has motivated me to actually find my desk sometime within this year. I know it's still under there, something's holding all that stuff up. |

I had a nice desk just outside of my R&D lab until the company right sized (otherwise known as layoffs) then they moved my desk to the next floor up above my lab and I haven't seen it since. I spend all my time in the lab designing in 3D CAD and running the lathe and mill anyway so it's no loss. I feel more at home in steel toes and work pants than dockers and loafers anyway. Damn that dress code. Hopefully I will have a little time to design and cut the axle sliders and few other assorted goodies for the Buell I just got sometime soon. |

My Desk has a steering wheel, dashboard, lots of switches, a tachograph, a Transics GPS/GSM com' system, & bloody great VOLVO badges on it. Mind you, the view's pretty good. |

Swordsman, Your coffee cup looks very familiar.... like the ones I bought at Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis, NC. I understand that company does cups for a variety of businesses but mostly Inns and B&B's. My work desk is pretty much covered with the tools of the trade... invoices, estimates, catalogs, PC, scanner, cameras, printers and printer dock. I do have some family photos but my wallpaper is always changing and always MC related. At home it's a different story... PC tower is covered in moto-decals with all sorts of moto and travel tidbits filling in the spaces around the electronics, motorcycle parts and pictures filling every other crevice of my home office. But most important are the parrot chew-toys for when they help out. JB2 |

Jb2, that coffee mug is from the 2002 Georgia Renaissance Festival. I have a complete set at home from 2001 onward. I just checked it over... no marks anywhere on it to say where it was made. ~SM |
