Ccryder, you've got a very good problem indeed! I've only got 650 and I'm in love. I love it when the throttle is pinned and the tach needled vibrates like hell as it sweeps the revs and the front wheel raises off the road! Too freaking COOL!!! 35 miles - clutch leak, repaired, 800 miles speedo replaced (Message edited by hellgate on March 25, 2009) (Message edited by hellgate on April 04, 2009) |

16,986 miles, #154 - 06 NOV 07 build date. Bad cam at 12.4k service - R&R warranty Switch died in IC at 13k and change - R&R warranty with 09 IC - got gear indicator for free!!! Nasty weather is moving in, I was lucky the forecast snow/rain didn't materialize, or I'd have ridden a bit more after work. Z (Message edited by zac4mac on March 23, 2009) |

I've got 8800 miles now and I posted all the problems I have had in the old post. They are also on my profile. Still on the original OEM rear tire, but I need to change it soon. Mike |

Hellgate, why are you watching the tach??? LOL Anyway, once you get some miles on your 1125, it stops vibrating. Later |

01xjbuell: My odo did that once. I disconnected the battery for ~20mins and it remembered it's old mileage when it was reconnected. |

8100 miles. All recalls done. Replaced Clutch cover, Turn signals, Instrument cluster under warranty. Denoid it. No other problems but the front clunk, but they say is normal so... Other than that excellent bike. Very happy with her. She makes me smile every time I ride her (we are talking about the bike). |

October 08 build (first week of production) and 13K miles. Dead battery a few times during the first couple of months fixed by the first reflash and replaced a leaking clutch cover(warranty). Traded my XB9S in for it and never looked back. Still haven't gotten over that new bike feeling and I've been riding the heck out of it for 14 months. |

Plumpton - that goes away with warmer weather. Still trying to determine if it's really a "problem" or not. Maybe we aren't supposed to ride in cold weather. Bah!! We are Bad Weather Bikers!! Z |

2008 1125r 7000 miles - engine totaled. Wrist pin backed off severe damage to the connecting rod and piston resulted. 8500 miles - 1500 miles on new engine. Downshifting to 2nd gear from 3rd while at 5000rpms. I heard a loud thud / crash noise from the gears. Rear tire locked up belt snapped and I'm still waiting to hear from the dealership but I'm willing to bed there is some severe gear damage. |

2000 miles. Stalls, dead battery, hot pipe, chugging in low gears, etc. All the stuff that should be fixed when I take her in for her latest 2 recalls and the new calibrations when it gets warmer. (I do put her on the booster when she's in the garage). Racine H-D has so far been cool about doing the work and I've been lucky so far not to get stranded so minor problems have not compared to the feeling when I'm riding. Tires are obviously in good shape. I had to replace my rear tire on my XB9 twice within the first 6000 miles which wasn't cheap. |

7,500 kms on 09 1125R with build date October 2008 and took delivery December 2008, still on original tyres. Single service problem to date has been my first error code "low system voltage" for the first time just a few days ago. Dealer advises the charging system shorted out and will need to be fully replaced under warranty. Goes in for its 10,000 km service middle of April. That single code ignores the fact that I've installed many, many 'fixes' to shortcoming of the bike's design, including the just-installed Zero Gravity double bubble because the oem's too short for freeway speeds; and the GPR steering damper 'cause the steering's way too vague for me; just to mention a few!
