Hello Guys and Gals, Here is my question a friend of mine had a big crash, the bike is about to be repaired, but the rear sub frame has a crack on it, as I'm not sure how does the back end of the bike go, I mean the sides where the passenger foot pegs go the metal piece from the frame to the tail light is is the same size as any lightning? is it longer? has it got inside a sub frame or this part acts as the rear sub-frame? sorry for the brick of questions, i'm trying to help him out saving money as here in Spain the dealer quoted him over 4 grand, so far we have got it down to 1,5 grand ordering from the US. Thank you, Miguel. |

The sub frame is longer on the Ss. I've never taken mine apart, so I can't really answer details about exactly what parts are involved. Hope your friend did better than his bike! |

I am afraid I don't understand what you are asking. The SS subframe is different than the S, but both use the same peg brackets and mounting. I recently turned my SS into a Uly, so I got an entire SS tail section here if you are in need of parts. |

Ebay, a wrecked bike was being parted out, forgot the total I paid but got the tail section, plastic, taillight, turn signals, and licence plate bracket. I got outbid on the triple tail and foot peg brackets, but they ended up selling more than retail.

Yes my friend is in need of both sides, although his bike is black but i'm sure he wont mind having to get them painted, let me know how much you want for them to let him know. Thank you |
