A Sunday sounds good to me! I may be able to do something April 5th or 12th.... let me know if that works.

Bruce and I just shot the bull yesterday and had some good food...
I see some Wednesday bike nights at the LUBE in the future for COBRA.
I'm not a big fan of the Lube scene but if Buellers are getting together, I'm there.
It will be a good way to spread the Buell word.

I sent the info to Buell last night for our club. As soon as I hear something I will post it up here.

Bruce, you're a I/T type of guy.... wanna do a COBRA website??

Sunday would work for me too. April 5th would be better, but the 12th is a possibility.

COBRA website? That would be cool - I'm in for doing that. A calendar for events/rides, a place for pics, an announcement page, general information...no forum needed since we have BadWeb of course. Let me mock something up over the next week or two. If anyone has additional thoughts or suggestions for it let me know.

I could be in for Sunday the 5th, Again if anyone can and the weather is decent, I believe the first lube bike night is the first of April. I'm almost always there.

Hello COBRA Members! My name is Masa. I ride 2003 XB9R white/orange. I have ridden this bike for one year. This bike gives me tons of fun! I did not know there is a Buell association in Columbus. Wolfridgerider just told me about this page(Thank you!) I have seen a couple of Buell in columbus. I have been looking for Buell community in Columbus for 1 year! I live in Dublin. May I join in COBRA?

IT"S ON! Res Ride V3!

Friday May 22-meet and greet, maybe ride?, Saturday May 23-the ride! Takes place Memorial Day weekend.

Quick details:
100+ miles of mountain riding in and around the reservoirs near Altoona, PA.
Breakfast at a diner that opened in 1933 on Saturday, late lunch at Clem's BBQ.
Average attendance the last 2 years has been 20-25 riders that come in from as far away as Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Wolf Ridge Rider is looking to come in from Columbus, OH this year! Maybe he'll bring his "posse"

Grandview "Euro" Bike Night. Very Buell friendly, but tons of Ducati's... perfect place to show off our machines. Just hang out, talk bikes with all kinds of people, and look at some cool as heck bikes. This event happens twice a month, but this one particular event is going to be huge! I'm sworn to secrecy about what exactly is going down, but it should be goood!

Hey Masa (Chuma1) did you ride up riverside drive today (Rt. 33)? I saw a White/Orange XB-R go past my work!

And about Euro Bike Nights... they have them a couple times a month now, and they're always a good time. I'll post up here whenever something big is happening (last year they had a semi truck of Hypermotards for demos one day... good stuff).

Not to make things difficult... but can we close this Columbus area forum now that we have a COBRA forum? Seems quite redundant.

That's awesome! I logged into Buell and checked it out, and they've already added our new website too.

Next Wednesday for Bike Night, how about we meet at Mellow Mushroom on Polaris Parkway at 6pm? It's a pretty cool new pizza/bar joint, in the same strip mall as the new 5 Guys and Fries. We could eat there first to avoid the mad rush at the Lube and then ride over as a Buell group. Plus that would give us a little time to hang out a bit to wait for any late comers.

If we have buy in on the time and place, I'll post the meet on the blog along with a map link.

I'll be there of course, weather providing. Where is this Mellow Mushroom. I can practically spit on Polaris from my place and I've never heard of either of those places. Give me something close to it that has been established for a longer period of time and I'm sure I'll know where to go. BTW I probably won't be able to make it until about 715-730pm.

Oh, I have also talked to our Marketing Direction @ AD Farrow and he said he will do whatever he can to sponsor and promote our group. And we may be able to hold meetings after hours if needed because I could close up.

We are really getting on a roll.

Hey all - I'm beginning to wonder if we should plan on meeting at 7pm instead of 6pm next week? Arctic9r can't make it out until later, and I recall that MikeF5000 couldn't make it out last time until around 7pm.

If we plan on meeting at 7pm, hanging for 30 minutes or so for munchies and stragglers.

I know this might make it a shorter night for some (I for one have kids at home and the better half is probably coming with me, two-up style), but we might have a better turn-out with the 7pm time.

Thoughts?
