Check plug, wire, coil, grounds, then safety switches - kick stand and clutch, key ignition. EZ | ||

OK, do you have spark at the plug? Have your removed the plug, put it back inside the wire, grounded the plug and cranked it? | ||

transmission fluid if there is none in there could this cause the problem i was experiencing?? | ||

Hey 1040697, You have to add engine oil where the dipstick is. Run the bike for about 20 minutes and check the stick, you should do this whenever you ride the bike or gas it up, I fins best to ride it until I get home, just make sure its between the lines on the stick. For the transmission: make sure you drain out the old fluid before you do that, unscrew the plug, thats the plug directly under the clutch inspection cover and is not the plug to the left...thats the primary chain bolt (and i found that out the hard way by taking out that thing and really messing up my cover  ) Transmission fluid is a little trickier to add. After you disconnect the negative on your battery and take off the left leg support on your bike. Then take off the three torx screws on the clutch inspection cover. make sure you have a funnel thats pretty small to fit in there and use about one quart. Either way I would open up the cover to make sure the fluid is in there. It will not spill out at long as you have the rear wheel propped up | ||

we just forgot to fill the transmission with fluid once that was in it started up good, i finally got to ride it..but the belt is off center and we want to fix that before riding it to much... | ||

Belt rides to the outside of the pulley, almost rubbing on the pulley cover. This is normal and there isnt any reason to 'fix' it. | ||

In extreme cases, the belt will make noise while rubbing against the plastic thing on the pulley. Still nothing to fix. | ||

It changes position on mine every time I turn the rear axle nut. |
