Nevco, I think you`ll find "War of the Worlds" was written by H.G.Wells. Miguel |

Yes, H.G. Wells wrote it, but Nevco1 was referring to the famous Orson Welles radio broadcast of "War of the Worlds" in 1938 which caused widespread panic for people who tuned in to his show. His reading of the H.G. Wells novel was so realistic that thousands of people actually believed the world was being attacked by aliens. |

Skulley...bore that thing out, put a massive cam in it, modify it for dual carbs and slap it in an old GP250 frame. These are a few of my favorite things: This was my room back home. Some of you may find your bikes in there. It sure was nice having such pretty things to look at |

Miguel...XB9er knew what I meant, however, I was clueless as to the author. Thanks!!! |

Rick_A... Interesting walls. Just the opposite of Spidey's. His has three bikes and the rest is all women!!! At least that's the mental pic he portrays. LOL |

Spidey... The dual headlamps primarily. However, I lived in the Los Angeles area when the Y2K scare of crime and looting was rumored and had my KLR650 all packed and ready to go camp in the mountains for a few weeks in the event it actually happened. About the only thing I didn't have on it was that gas mask and I found Miguel's pic absolutely hilarious. Would make for a great conversation piece in the urban streetfighter environment, eh? |

Spidey...Part II If you check my profile under "changes I would like to see the factory make" you can imagine just how disappointed I was Christmas morning not to find the XB9S lamps, flyscreen, etc under the tree. Bummer Dude. Like some of the stuff I see on Trojan's website, but would like to see pic of actual installation on a Y2K X1 before plunking down the gold. |

Whoops...I was wondering when you were going to get around to reading that. LMAO... Just teasing. Rick's old room was all bikes save for about three other items. Figured with your reputation yours would be all women with only three bikes or whatever. Happy New Year and send your cast off women to Milwaukee. We could use some fresh flowers around here. LOL |

See, in the bottom picture, on the left...that area was full of pictures of scantily clad chicks on bikes...they were placed strategically so that my door would cover them when opened . When it comes to women...I've always been better at maintaining machines than relationships |
