Ken Hill tests the 1125R at Infineon Raceway at one of the Inside Pass track days. He really liked the bike, riding on street tires, he did very well. Says that he believes it should do well in AMA racing against the 600's. Nice to read a real experts opinion on the track. |

Ducati sells more than an engine, They sale a bike people park in there houses as Art. Italians in general take attention to detail in design. A bikes design that people admire even those that know nothing about bikes. Looks count. I love Buells but I do understand the sexy factor on the Ducati's. |

Ya, Ducati's are awesome, no doubt. Form and function to the highest level, and you pay more for it to. I own one and I love it, but I love my Buell 1125R also. I was at a gas station with 2 R6's and a GSXR750, and a group of guys came up to me and said, WOW! what a cool bike, What is it. Ya, It is a cool bike. Ducati's the Farrarri of motorcycles, the Buell 1125R is the Corvette. It's not quite as refined as a Ducati. Its designed with a certain price point in mind, but you do get a lot for the money. It will smoke a stock 600, and give a stock 1000 trouble too( depending on the rider) this is the first Buell to be able to do this. In racing though, the bikes are not off the showroom floor, except for the Buell. these Buell teams are basically on there own against the other factory supported teams that have been doing this a lot longer. This bike is a huge step forward for Buell, and they are finally on the map. It's just gonna take time. It is the best bike America has ever built, and I cant wait to see what happens next. |

Anybody have a link to the above article? I've tried searching on RRW for "Ken Hill" for "Buell" for "Infineon"... nothing. Is this a recent article? |

All is know is gent jon says it's free. I think that's what he meant by complimentary. Or maybe the article will say nice things to you while you read it? I'm confused. I'm going to bed now. |

Have a nice nap, LionsFan. Complimentary means to give compliments. Complementary means to give it away for free. The article was in the latest issue of Roadracing World for which I have a subscription. I am afraid it was complimentary not complementary. Unfortunately it is not free, and not on their web site, which has news from the world of road racing, unless one subscribes to the electronic edition edition. Here is their URL, read all about it. It is one of my favorite magazines. http://www.roadracingworld.com |

Jon said there's no link to the story unless(maybe) you subscribe. Gotta buy a copy of the paper version, that's where he read it. Z |

I believe that the Buell web site has a complementary complimentary Roadracingworld.com article for download. |

http://www.buell.com/en_us/_media/pdfs/company/bue ll-in-the-press/buell_reprint.pdf Article from December RRW is on the CR - not the R... writte by Fleming, not Hill. I sure don't recall an article by Hill on the 1125R so it must be in my PO box. |

And yes....it is FREE... If you head out to an AMA Pro race...the Buell guys were there (Fontana) and "giving away" the article. Not the whole magazine, but a reprint of the four page article. Mike |

And the RRW people were about 50 yards farther down, giving away the whole mag. |
