I recently made a Breather Reroute Mod to my '08xb12s and have put approx 300mi on it so far. Prior to the mod, my bike was notorious for the Buell common cold with airbox sneezing/coughing a low rpm's. When i first got the bike, i blipped the throttle frequently (as a old habit with CBR's) and the bike would sneeze 1/10 of the time! Over the last 300mi I’ve TRIED to get it to sneeze and i can't! I'll test it over the next few weeks but for what i can tell so far, rerouting the PCV has helped TREMENDOUSLY and it's not hard to believe when you see the snot & fumes that used to be dumped directly into the engine. WOW your getting alot of crap out of there.I dont even have a catch can and have yet to even get a drip out of my reroute and its almost Identical to your set up. |
