I'm about to purchase this pipe from American Sport Bike, I found the only full system available at the moment, beside the Force, but I have Force on both my other Buells (XB and S1), so I'd like to change a little. I don't know this system, never seen it before in person and don't know anyone who has it to ask about performance. can anybody of you who has the D&D, tell me his opinions on this pipe? |

D&D makes exhaust for lots of bikes. First ones with a slip on for my S-2 back in the day. What did Al say about it? |

why, the D&D for the X1 doesn't fit the M2? the crossing of the headers is the same, you just have to close the O2 sensor port with a nut and you should be fine... Al said it's a good exhaust, loud but a bit less than the Force. my X1 will be black and orange, with some polished parts, so I think the D&D with polished headers would look just fine on my bike. I just wanted to know more about the performance... |

I have the full (headers and pipe) system from D&D on my X1. It is built like a tank. I have had absolutely no issues with it. You do have to have the updated Y style exhaust bracket in order to mount it though. Sound is deep, not raspy. The packing is stainless steel, shouldn't ever need to be replaced. D&D had posted some dyno sheets on sporttwin.com a few years ago. Their full system with race ECM beat the Buell Race kit (header, pipe, and ECM) by a small amount at the top end, but really made big improvements in the midrange. I believe this is the best system on the market for tubers. |

if you're lookin' to help with the cost of that new exhaust i'll take your stock exhaust off your hands. i bought my bike with a custom header on it and it fell apart while i was riding it last week. |
