Well the Blast is in the shop for warranty work on the headgasket slinging oil from between the head and jug and right as I parked it the rocker cover was leaking too. So in for warranty work, Ihave new front MT 75 and was thinking of using a Michelin Commander in the 140/70 for mileage reasons. And also gotta think about getting a new belt. And I think its time to do something on the steering, gotta look it up as it now has 14555miles. got few miles on rear tire then change oil, trans oil and plug are new. |

Those Michilin tires are not a safe cornering tire - just letting you know. EZ |

Strange I have talked to several owners using the 140 michelins and and they have never said a thing about them. |

i think the problem is the softer compound is to far out for us to use because the tires balloon more on our narrow rims. |

The Mich. tires are in the same category as the Dunlops - yes you'll get extra miles, however, your ability to corner gets seriously limited by the tires lack of adhesion in the corner. EZ |

Strange I rode on my Dunlop on both for the first rear tire and got over 4000 miles and had zero handling issues other than the Dunlops ride slightly rougher. The second tire on the rear was mt75 and actually handled as well with the front Dunlop as I could ever expect, heck I out cornered a fella on a GSXR. I then put on another MT75 which is about worn out, but I have new front MT75 ready to install. I just dont do that much hard riding but put 11,830 on 3 tires in back and the front is stock Dunlop with 14555 on the bike and even nearly bald it never even hydroplaned. If I ever decided to road course it I might worry about the difference. |

First time you have to corner hard to evade - those tires will let you down in a bad way - fact. EZ |
