I just wanted to post pictures of my almost completed bike. I just painted and installed the Buell Racing belly pan, Darkhorse sliders, Precision Engineering fender eliminator and clear alternatives LED taillight with integrated turn signals.

Next up is an Ohlins steering damper. Anyone have the Ohlins installed? I was wondering if its worth the $495.

Also, you will notice that the plastic slider piece on my clutch cover has fallen out. Can anyone tell me what the part number is so I can have my dealer order me a new one?

Thanks, Enjoy

For the original cover the plug part number is R1021.1AM - should also include the O ring.

If you have a Rev.A cover I can't help you, although it may be in the archives.

the buell one i think retails around $150, I went with CRC. About the same price and look wise. I tried my best to hide the brackets.

I'm planning on painting the mounts flat black so they are not noticeable. But the stand? That's a good idea. What is the stand made out of? I might think about power coating the stand.

Belly pan (Part# L0500.08AZ) is from Buell Racing and it cost me $160 but I was told pricing is going up. Your dealer has to call Henry at Buell Racing to order it (262)642-2102. It did not come with any of the mounting brackets or screws and I had to use my dremel to cut out a place for the kick stand. I shaped the mounting brackets using a torch and 1"x1/8" aluminum stock from Home Depot.

Are neither of you adding the lowers to complete the set? Just seems like the next logical step to me.

The only lowers I would add would be from Ilmberger, don't have the $3,500 to do it yet.

The only thing I wanted to cover up was the exhaust. I like seeing the engine, however, the grandstand design body kit does look cool. Its $500 for that kit and I rather have a Ohlins damper for now.
